I was happy to find a place that makes bubble tea in Ann Arbor -- even if it was room temperature-ish instead of cold and refreshing. But the food during my first meal here was fine. And a lot of Asians diners, which is always a good sign. We tried the standard Chinese restaurant dishes -- stir-fry basics. Nothing crazy.... More

Got carry out from here and it was really not good, like I wouldn't even classify it as mediocre chinese, just bad. The lo mein was sticky, mushy, and weird textured, not much flavor. And we attempted to order garlic chicken, but it did not taste like garlic chicken, it actually tasted like ginger. Also, it gave me a stomach... More

Called in for a quick lunch and was impressed by the friendly, speedy service, tasty food, and cheap price. Tip for first-time diners: I found the service VERY fast, so I think this would be a good choice for a speedy lunch. That said, there was no sense they wanted me out in a hurry if I chose to sit... Not bad, good flavor (Chinese style) & worth the price. We'd like to try more in the future. Best Chinese restaurant till now.

Asian Legend is my favorite restaurant in Ann Arbor. I have been coming here at least once a month for three years and for good reason. The Chinese section of the menu is good, but maybe not as good as at other Chinese places. The real area where this restaurant shines is in the Taiwanese section of the menu. I... More

I go to Asian Legend pretty often for lunch. They are usually very quick --businesslike, rather than friendly, which is understandable because it's often very busy. The food is reliably good, often really good. I especially love their tofu and have tried a lot of the different combinations --the "homestyle tofu" is especially good in combining vegetables and tofu in... More

I would say the cuisine itself is acceptable. However, the service is totally not Taiwanese standard, which is supposed to be friendly, warm and smiley. At least one of the lady who served our table did not give us any smiling face, nor did she serve with good attitude. For example, she kind of threw the dishes on the table;... More

Caveat reader -- we live in Honolulu and are used to excellent Chinese food. We found the food at Asian Legend satisfactory but not above average. The dishes were rather bland. There is a large variety of dishes on the menu. The service was fine. We had no complaints about our experience here and enjoyed the family experience.

The Asian dude that works there is a psycho, I was waiting for my friend to order some food and had asked to use the bathroom. I took the menu with me to the bathroom, I didn't like anything on it so I tossed in the garbage. I go outside to wait in my car for my friend to arrive... More

I got homesick when I was having the food there. Eventually I found somewhere I could have some food I had before. Good atmosphere and awesomely authentic flavor !
