Very rarely, almost never do I complain about service. I'm very understanding having worked in a service industry. In fact I'll put up with mediocre service when places are busy and not complain and still tip 20%. Well, our experience at Nick's was horrible due to the way we were treated. Not only were we treated rudely by Nick's staff,... More

Nick's is a great place to stop for breakfast. The food is delicious, and the service is great. The location is near the stadium which is nice if you are looking for a great breakfast spot before the game.

We stopped on a weekday morning after an early morning doctor's appointment. There was a decent crowd there, many out of state visitors who were likely U of M alumni revisiting an old friend it seemed, which I thought spoke highly of the food. The waitstaff was pretty average for a diner - friendly, not too hovering, not too fast... More

I met a friend here for breakfast. It is a "no frills" place. The waitstaff was very friendly and they kept the coffee hot with many "warm ups." Now let's get down to food...I had the cream cheese and apple stuffed French toast. DELICIOUS! It was sweet but not tooooo sweet. I paired it with crispy bacon and OJ. My... More

After reading reviews on TripAdvisor we thought we couldn't go wrong and we weren't disappointed. We ordered and split a turkey, cheese and spinach omelet, 2 banana pecan pancakes and hash brown potatoes. All of our food came to the table piping hot shortly after ordering. I really didn't care for the sausage in the omelet but my husband loved... More

I'm a picky eater, if great I say so, if it's mediocre I'll call it. Nicks is a decent place but I don't care for doughy pancakes...it could have been an off day and I'll try them again when I'm back in Ann Arbor.

Must stop for breakfast Sunday morning after game day before heading home. First cup of coffee was a bit watery, but it was replaced when requested & replacement was much better. Food is great, very large portions. Be prepared for a bit of a wait to be seated Sunday mornings. We had ~10 minutes to get a table, but worth... More

A great spot for breakfast. Excellent selection. Pecan banana pancakes, cherry and walnut pancakes and waffles were favorites. Parking on site. Will recommend to friends.

We go here every weekend during our visit to Michigan for the UM games and love it!! Super large portions! Open from 7am to 3pm every day and prices are very good.
