We were here last year and it was fabulous. This year the food was just ok. The manoul (dessert) was so amazing that I searched for the special mold to make them at home. This times it scored a "2." Sad, very sad.

Having left Ann Arbor a few years ago, this is the spot I miss the most. Simple, delicious food with fresh ingredients. Consistently tasty and affordable.

Had the chicken shawarma and a side of fries for $9. F Decent food for the price. Not the best but not the worst. Good if you're on a bit of a budget.

We were touring University of Michigan and stopped here for dinner. The service was fast and we liked everything we ordered. The chicken kabob plate, spinach pie, tabouli, falafel plate, baklava, and pistachio cookie were all freshly prepared and very flavorful.

Pretty great food and friendly service. Familiar atmosphere. Amazing price for the taste and its worth. Definitely suggest if you like Middle Eastern food.

I don't know. The menu is available online, you could check. Also, try calling before you go. As I am not Muslim, I didn't notice. Sorry.
