I ate breakfast here 30 years ago and I ate breakfast here today for the first time since then. Just the same, just as funky, just as unique. Highly recommended any time of the day.

The Fleetwood has been serving great food in A2 for many years. We enjoyed a pre-game breakfast last weekend. I had the famous Hippy Hash and loved it!

I was fairly drunk, upon visiting this place. Service was patient, at a time when I can see plenty of servers losing theirs. Food was decent and cheap. Good experience.

This little diner has been in Ann Arbor since the late 1940's. A few tables and counter inside, additional seating under outside awning. Don't judge a book by it's cover. The walls are covered in stickers, the waitress tends to be sarcastic, but the food is delicious and just an overall fun vibe. The bathroom is downstairs near their storage... More

Although the diner is old and dirty...I still gave it a try. I used to get the hippie hash. Good. I stopped frequenting the place after I went in and the cook walked in behind me and went downstairs. I waited patiently for about 10 minutes until the waitress told me that he'll be right up...he was in the bathroom.... More

Stopped by a different restaurant/bar first and they were not serving food as we were there rather late. We asked our waitress if she could recommend some other place. She said The Fleetwood. We were not disappointed, we were there around 1:30am on a Saturday night. It was very busy and loud and full of drunk u of m students!... More

My children and I had lunch there recently. My 7 year-old had a cheeseburger which she ate all of and said it was "tasty". My 2 year old devoured his kids pancakes. I taste-tested these and they were perfectly fluffy and delicious, I must say. I ordered the hippie hash with 2 eggs over-medium and wheat toast. It was a... More

We visited at lunchtime during the week. We ate outside and virtually had the place to ourselves. It's on a busy street corner so the ambience is city noise. We both had a hippie hash breakfast with gyro meat. Hippie hash includes hash browns, mushrooms, broccoli and other goodies cooked with light seasoning to perfection. DELICIOUS!! At 8.49 a plate,... I LOVE this place. Don't let the place scare you. It's a dive by some standards but with that you get the BEST FOOD! I get the Hippie Hash every time. It's just a plate full of YUM! I suggest you sit outside and enjoy the view. Being A2 you never know what you are going to see.

It's been 30 years since I lived in AA, so I was delighted to see that the Fleetwood Diner is still in business, just one block west of Main. The Hippie Hash I had for breakfast was delicious. No illegal ingredients despite the name, just hash browns covered with grilled green peppers, onions, tomatoes, broccoli, and mushrooms, topped with feta... More
