Food in Copacabana is extremely limited even by Bolivian standards. Nimbo does slightly better Mexican fare than most, however. We ate here twice and the nachos and tacos are better than many of the other options around whilst still not being great. Nimbo is well situated on the main strip with outside seating, which is lovely until a diesel polluting... More

We were on our last spot in Bolivia, spending just two nights in Copacabana, visiting and just relaxing. We went into this cafe bar, like 2 times. Our second time was not a positive experience at all. We sat on a table next to the door. We order tea and dessert (I do not recommend the lemon pie, the heat... More

Me and my friend had to wait really long for our starter, which was just nachos with guacamole. as a main dish my friend ordered tacos and I ordered a burrito - both looked exactly the same, there was no difference. But the food and especially the guacamole was really good! But very slow staff and I think there is... More

Unfortunately we hadn't brushed up on tripadvisor on our first night in Copacabana and went into Nimbo's as it looked fairly busy and Mexican sounded good. We very quickly realised the reason why so many people were seated at tables was because they had been waiting an age to get any food! Not only that but the only waiter must... More

We went for a quick bite but ended up waiting for ages, despite all kinds of promises made by (a very sloppy) staff. Food came in a bag with sand in it and was not warm at all. The, for Bolivian standards, large bill did the rest: we are not coming back.

This small Mexican joint on the main tourist strip is nice, warm and welcoming. The decor is interesting to look at but not matching the Mexican theme, with its eucalyptus leaves and leopard print fluffy table cloths and lion pics.. The staff where friendly and helpful. The menu is fairly priced with satisfying portion sizes. I had the chicken burrito,... More

This would have to be the worst Mexican food Iv ever eaten. I ended up with poisoning after eating here and Im positive it was from my meal here. I went to the bathroom out the back after dinner and if I had been before there is no way I would have eaten here. You can see into the kitchen... More

We enjoyed this restaurant and shared some of the Mexican dishes, which seemed pretty authentic and tasty. Enjoyed the layout, even if it was crammed with many many other gringos dining alongside us. Avoid the wine - think that's true of Bolivia in general though... The bill with 10% extra tax, which nobody told us about, spoiled the whole impression. And half of the menu was not available.
