I've been stopping to dine at Ken's since 2008. The food is great. We've ordered many different plates and have never been dissatisfied. The portions are generous and all plates are seasoned well. Ken in my opinion is a must eat for those visiting Santa Cruz if you like Japanese food!

I was pleasantly surprised to find such a great place in Santa Cruz. Great for Japanese dishes in general, sushi is not bad but not the best they have. Try the Special Ramen, the Ginger Beef and the Gyozas :))))

Ken's is a fantastic little dive that boasts a large menu of lovingly prepared Japanese cuisine. It may not be as flashy as its Santa Cruz compatriots, but the food is reasonably priced, the service is warm and prompt and the flavor (of the things that I have tried so far) has been very good. Dare I say, legit. This... More

The restaurant is quite simple but clean and the service is good. I am not a big fan of sushi, but I recommend the noodle/chicken/vegetable dish -yakisoba. So big that you can share:)

Yes anytime again here. The food was just amazing. Fresh and super tasty. There where so many japanese dishes. We tried a few and also a fish from the Titikaka lake (local) and every time we are near the restaurant we go back.

I visit here several time. But everytime rice condition is different. Too much put water so rice is too sticky. If rice condition is same everyday, i can give to 5star.

My mother was Japanese and I grew up eating Japanese food, and I can say that Ken’s is one of the best places to eat in Santa Cruz and the most authentic Japanese taste. Considering that Bolivia is a landlocked country and it is very difficult and expensive to find sea food, this restaurant does wanders in the kitchen. For... More

Food was only passable, not great but the restaurant was a messy dive with questionable sanitation. Menu selection was only vaguely Japanese, more of a Bolivian-Japanese fusion The tablecloths were stained and dirty and they were only brushed off and not changed between diners. Would not return
