We went for diner at Le chalet. Appetizer (carpaccio meat) was excellent , main courses : salmon and duck magret : very good. Service is professional and quick. Ambiance is around the Swiss mountains type. Enjoy !!

Nice chalet located in Santa Cruz. We went for business with a group of people. The food and service were ok. One of the few options in the city.

The traditional a la carte menu has not changed its quality since the first day it opened. Maintaining such delicious style of cooking makes this restaurant special. The atmosphere provides for any ocassion and is very homelike. Service is great, as are amenities. Best restaurant in town

I'm a frequent guest at this restaurant (at least one per month) and the food is simply outstanding. The service has had its up and downs from time to time, but most of the times is impeccable. I'm a huge fan of their mushroom appetizers, and traditional european dishes. I love their Astoria Steak with a mountain of shredded fried.... More

What a fantastic menu! I had the sea snails and the ginebra salad, just spectacular. My husband had and amazing Thai soup, chef's recommendation. And other guests raved about their pork taquitos. Amazing food, great atmosphere, great service. Can't wait to come back.

This incongruous restaurant serves a broad range of European, local and fusion dishes. The menu is large - as is the enormous wine list, with some excellent wines at reasonable prices. The food is good and the service friendly.

This is a great restaurant in Santa Cruz. I just did not understand why it doesn't stick to its main goal: French cuisine! Featuring such a wide menu, including local food alternative and else, somehow is missing the point and misinforming the customer. It's true I had a French-taste meal, but I missed the atmosphere, and was distracted by all... More

Other people really like this place. I have been several time and find that that the food is good but not great. They try to do too many different types of food with many of the dishes not that authentic or tasty. Other opinions may vary.
