You'll be hard pressed the find a better dining experience in all of Siem Reap than Cuisine Wat Damnak. Tucked away on a quiet, dimly lit street on the far side of the Siem Reap river, the restaurant's unassuming facade hides an unexpectedly special experience. The restaurant is certainly quaint in its simply adorned interiors and reasonably priced tasting menu... More

Booked on what I read here and was not disappointed at all. Great options and flavours. Two of us - we had one of the tasting menus each so we could try many dishes. Lots of great things, each dish was well thought out and presented. Well worth a go. Wine list good and priced well. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful restaurant. We visited for our 10th anniversary. The food is quite incredible. We have travelled all over the world and to be honest, this may be the best meal I have ever had. I am vegetarian and rarely get the opportunity to have a tasting menu. With prior warning, Chef made an unbelievable 6 course tasting menu... More

We really enjoyed the 5-course and 6-course menu at Cuisine Wat Damnak and were thrilled to taste the Khmer cuisine with a touch of French. It was delicious - from the taste from the kitchen to the dessert we experienced different flavours, but never too strong. The price for the menu and wine was a great value... The setting beautiful... More

One of the most important thing for us when traveling is to have a nice dinner that feature the local cuisine and fresh produce. This restaurant did just that. Local cuisine done right with modern techniques. I believe some reviewers gave a lower rating because they did not take the full 6-course menu, of which the missing course is one... More

I visited the restaurant with slightly higher expectation due to the raving reviews here. We booked our table in advance (as recommended) and was a little surprised the restaurant was not full after all. Perhaps our reservation was late and it was on a weekday. The al-fresco area was nice and there were fans around, the service personnel including the... More

My annual visit to Siem Reap is not complete without coming here - Brilliant concept, always faithfully and energetically executed. The two tasting menus are always well thought out and balanced between sweet, sour, savoury, and spicy. An elegant and exciting way to be introduced to the flavours and ingredients of the region within the western template of a tasting... More

Lovely setting. It was pretty hard to get a seat so I would recommend you to book in advance. Pros: Great menu, good wine range and reasonably priced. We tried both tasting menu, it was lovely. The plating, the details was great. Duck Confit - Love the complexity in texture and the tender breast meat. Dessert - the mango crisp... More

When I tried to book a table last week I discovered that it is fully booked for weeks ahead. After many emails back and forth we were thrilled to be able to take up a cancellation last night. I am so very pleased to have eaten there. The most lovely setting, delightful service and absolutely delicious food. Thank you Johannes... More

The food was amazing - I work in a Michelin star kitchen and it baffles me how CWD has yet to get at least one Michelin star. We chose Tasting Menu 2: Amuse Bouche Duck Confit with Crispy Rice Steamed Mekong Langoustine Tonle Sap Croaker Fish Angkor Stout Pulled Pork Green & Ripe Mango Tart Fresh Seasonal Fruit Platter We...
