I have spent 2 weeks in Siem Reap and eaten in a number of restaurants. The Chili Pepper (aka La Noria) Restaurant is by far the best. It is set on a spacious and airy balcony overlooking the river. The service is delightfully courteous. The food, which includes both Khmer specialities and Italian dishes, is absolutely excellent. The ice creams are... More

We were so looking forward to celebrating an event a dinner and show at their theater and booked about a week in advance. The booking was confirmed by 2 people. When we arrived for our dinner and show - lo-and-behold they didn't even have our name on the list! Absolutely pathetic! Good luck making a booking, because you're not guaranteed... More

This restaurant is located at La Noria hotel and is in beautiful authentic Cambodian style - the name of the restaurant is a little incongruous. We shared spring rolls, crab cakes and a wonderful fish amok - all was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. It was a shame that there was only 1 other table with customers. Service was charming... More

This restaurant is now called Chilly Pepper and is run independently of the hotel. We visited on a very quiet night, but it could be because it appears as closed on Tripadvisor. Food and service excellent, good pricing, limited winelist but adeqate. This has to be the most romantic open air restaurant in Seam Reap located as it on the... More

La Noria Restaurant on Wednesday evenings hosts a traditional shadow puppet and dance display put on by the children of the NGO Krousar Thmey. All proceeds from the show are directly donated to Krousar Thmey and help to support the children, the center and all of its programs. The show is put on in the centre of the dining area,... More

We really enjoyed our dinner + show at La Noria. Food-wise, there were vegetarian options for me, and the serving size was quite large. We went on Wed. night to watch the students of Krousar Thmey perform a shadow puppet show. They also did several traditional dances, which had more heart than the very-touristy 'professional' dance show we'd seen earlier.... More

After exploring the temples of Siam Reap in 5 days straight, I decided to reward myself by dining at a nice restaurant to sample authentic Khmer cuisine. La Noria was a fitting reward for myself. The Degustation Khemer set menu,, consisting of 3 salads (pomelo and shrimp salad, banana flower chicken salad, and fresh green spring roll), 3 viands (beef... More

We had dinner at La Noria twice ; first we came for the puppet + dance show, then we came back for the pomelo salad :-) We were staying at the Borann Auberge des Temples (great) hotel + pool, and they recommend La Noria restaurant. Great setting, delicious food. We came back for more.

I'm a big fan of gaspacho and the one I had at the Noria was absolutely excellent, probably one of the best I ever had. Then I had pork with mustard sauce and french fries, and it was marvelous as well. The portions were huge, the staff were lovely, and we didn't have to wait for long. A perfect place... More
