We ate there as we did not look for nicer restaurants. All of us did not really feel like big dinner, and this occasion it was a good choice. Food is cheap/ not amazing but the taste is ok. noodles are 2dollors and the portion was not small compare with the price. But I saw lots of black stuff doesn't... More

Last March, I spent a week in Siem Reap and ate there at least once a day. Most meals are delicious and fairly cheap if you compare with most restaurants in SR. The owners, husband and wife, are super friendly. They are great cooks and speak a very good English. I'm really looking forward to go back in February 2015.

I stayed in Siem Reap for 4 days and ate here at least once a day! I was so glad to have found it. The menu offers a wide variety of Khmer dishes, including vegetarian versions of traditional Amok and Lok Lac. The owners/chefs are very friendly, speak great English and made me feel at home. They provide hot tea... More

I had 4 or 5 meals at Ponleu Chan. The meals were prepared fresh and were good, tasty, and cheap. They also make very good fruit shakes. Chan and her husband, Ponleu, were very friendly and the service was excellent.

You can't complain about the prices. It was $9 for three of us including bottled water and tip. Fried rice looked nice. Fish amok was okay . It was quite tasteless compared to other places we has eaten. Friendly service.

We walked by this restaurant 12 timesa J&D when we asked our tuk tuk driver where to go for lunch, he recommended Pnleu Chan. Without a doubt, the best Amok that we had. The green mango salad was great as well as the fried kale with chicken. A great meal.

Relatively new restaurant in Siem Reap. Owner used to have a small market selling phone cards, drinks, etc. She has done a GREAT job with the restaurant. Service is great. Owner/cook speaks English, well. She is very warm and inviting. You will feel quite welcome. The Khmer food is as good as I have had anywhere in Siem Reap, but... More

We had two wonderful meals here! The food was good on both visits. The owners are lovely people who really understand the concept of customer service. After our meal we were given complimentary tea and a plate of fruit on both visits! The second visit we asked if they had playing cards (we like to play while we wait for... More

It took me a few days until I stumbled on this lovely place. Initially it was because they had a good selection of beer - a welcome change from the normal Angkor draft you get on Pub Street. Weeks later I had become a regular because not only was the food great (a good selection of Khmer and Western) and... More
