We were the only customers there tonight. I think I know why. First of all, the starter scallops/shrimp/king crab in garlic chili wine oil was really good. You have to pick between scallops, shrimp and (there was no king crab) but what we got was plentiful and flavorful. Not so much the chicken, and the Wayu beef was underwhelming (not... More

I had a VERY satisfying meal the night before my trek. While the meat looked so tempting, I indulged in a perfectly cooked salmon filet and beautiful avocado salad- lots of omega 3's! Staff were friendly, but didn't speak English and my Spanish is not great. Nevertheless I got the filling meal I wanted!

This si a place for carne lovers. We had a steak and some lamb; both were excellent. The service was adequate, but not friendly.

I've travelled through Argentina and chile for a month now and the lamb here was the worst I've had a parilla. It was dry, tough, and warm. My friend had the steak and it was good. Vegetables were good. The calamari rings quite average. Service was great. I wished the lamb was. First meal I've been disappointed in. Pity.

I went to Parrilla Don Jorge with a group of 6 people after we completed the W Circuit. We were all craving a meat dinner for New Years and Parrilla was highly recommended. To say the least, it was absolutely delicious and one of my favorite meals while I was in Chile for two weeks. Since it was New Years,... More

After of full day of touring through Torres de Paine National Park, we were ready for a hearty red meat dinner. We had seen 2 steakhouses on the Plaza de Armas and had decided that we would try Parrilla don Jorge. The restaurant is attractive inside with dark paneling and comfortable chairs. From most of the tables you could see... More

Our trekking group of 6 were here for dinner on the night before we left, and we certainly stoked up on calories! We had a platter of meat to share, and it was HUGE -- beef, sausages, black pudding (aka blood sausage) and a rather small portion of lamb. All the meat was a bit greasy, probably from beling in... Try the steak it's great. Inside the place is huge, so you won't be the only one. As great the steak was, as less was the fish.

We had lunch here and the food was good. Some had the lamb and others the chicken. Both were very good. If you do not like the smell of meat grilling you may not like it because it was a bit smoky.

We ate dinner at Don Jorge one evening. I had the a steak which was cooked perfectly and my wife had salmon which was prepared equally well. Service was very good - good Chilean Cabernet very reasonably priced.
