First Impression: We have been there on a Sunday late afternoon. I expected a good flow of people due to large foot fall in this area and good reviews across the Media. However we were the only guests and also after sitting there for approx....30 Mins. nobody else came. It was a huge surprise to us considering the good reviews here and on media articles online before. Food: The Food was unexpected low standard and far away from German style. We expected more by reading about the story of the Owner. We ordered the sausage as well as the 3 mini burgers. The sausage arrived in slices approx. 1 cm thin and had no taste at all. The sauce alongside did not make it better. However the worst was the mini burger order. I know those are not coming with beef patties but the sliced pork was very limited and had not much taste. We had the feeling to eat bread only across all 3 mini burgers. They also used a strange sauce as base. It was a real waste and we were very disappointed. Drinks: The Beer is excellent and there is nothing to argue about. However the pricing is in a very high range. So if you want to get drunk there prepare to be broke after. Service: The Service was fast and without any problem. Location: The Location is charming and has a special vibe. However sind there have been no guests except us it was quite low mood. Message to Owner: This review should be seen as constructive feedback. The place is very charming indeed and the beer is awesome but we believe such feedback also need to be mentioned to adjust respectively.More

Very friendly place. The entire place is an old freezer plant that used to makes ice for fishermen in the past, so it has an amazing concept. They have good quality craft beer and food. The staff can speak English. Definitely a must-see place in...Xiamen.More

Was in Xiamen for work but found the time to go beer hunting. What a great find - the beers are very good and they have the styles you are unlikely to find elsewhere. The pump house decor is funky, but the hidden gem is...the rooftop terrace. Enjoy a beer on the roof at sunset!More

This place has the best beer in Xiamen and a great vibe. It's an old factory converted into a bar with a rooftop patio, a cozy industrial interior and a nicely lit downstairs patio. Don't miss the free Open Mic Comedy every Thursday at 9:30...in the old brewery room in the back downstairs. Lots of expats come to hone their craft and make people laugh. There are drink specials on Thursday and every day of the week the bar has food specials. The burrito is especially good! Don't miss this place if you're in Xiamen.More

If you’re looking for a good beer, western-style nibbles and a chilled vibe- this is the spot to visit! The venue has a number of different “spaces”, depending on your mood. There’s a patio, indoor industrial bar space, upstairs restaurant and roof terrace. Recommend the...tacos! Unfortunately, the current manager has no understanding of customer service. Got our order wrong, used foul language assuming we didn’t understand Chinese and was rude when we asked for the order to be corrected.More

Here on a business trip and my local colleagues decided that the obvious place to take a Brit in China is a German micro brewery! Great location, funky interior, good beer!

They brew a couple beers and ciders, also have some outside beers in draft. Relaxed amtmosphere and crowd. Surprisingly good pizza. Cool building and rooftop. Good flow of customers to keep it fresh. Saw some complaining reviews about limited selection, but from 5 years in...China I much prefer limited but fresh to having many on tap that dont turn over. A nice find in a city like Xiamen!More

Very special place nice industrial atmosphere but be aware the food menu is very limited and does not offer your regular burger or steak. Also there are many beers to choose from but they had no traditional beer but only IPA beer. Food was good...:)More

It’s expat heavy, but I suppose that’s what you expect from this part of town. But they have some decent draft beer, unique decor and a roof terrace. Have been back a few times when I’m here and it’s always enjoyable
