First Impression: We have been there on a Sunday late afternoon. I expected a good flow of people due to large foot fall in this area and good reviews across the Media. However we were the only guests and also after sitting there for approx....30 Mins. nobody else came. It was a huge surprise to us considering the good reviews here and on media articles online before. Food: The Food was unexpected low standard and far away from German style. We expected more by reading about the story of the Owner. We ordered the sausage as well as the 3 mini burgers. The sausage arrived in slices approx. 1 cm thin and had no taste at all. The sauce alongside did not make it better. However the worst was the mini burger order. I know those are not coming with beef patties but the sliced pork was very limited and had not much taste. We had the feeling to eat bread only across all 3 mini burgers. They also used a strange sauce as base. It was a real waste and we were very disappointed. Drinks: The Beer is excellent and there is nothing to argue about. However the pricing is in a very high range. So if you want to get drunk there prepare to be broke after. Service: The Service was fast and without any problem. Location: The Location is charming and has a special vibe. However sind there have been no guests except us it was quite low mood. Message to Owner: This review should be seen as constructive feedback. The place is very charming indeed and the beer is awesome but we believe such feedback also need to be mentioned to adjust respectively.More
