We spent 6 nights in Cartagena visiting every evening different top restaurants . La Perla is Peruvian cuisine at its best. We visited Lima a couple of months ago for a culinary weekend and didn't enjoy as much as in La perla. All the dishes...More

Ate a late lunch with my daughter here yesterday, only four other patrons in sight. Unexpectedly, the ceviche was outstanding (better, in my opinion than that of La Cevicheria). Maybe it's the style of ceviche; this one is served in a tomatoey sauce that reminded...More

The place is pretty nice spot in downtown Cartagena! My favorites: octopus with mashed yuca, ceviche oysters, Nikkei tiradito, tuna tartare and calamar relleno a MUST!!! Also, they have a wonderful drink which is a mix of tamarindo, lychee and ginger...and for dessert: suspiro limeño...More

We went there because I read very good reviews of this place, but honestly none of us liked the food. It was just ok. We ordered the stuffed calamari, the ravioli, octopus, tiradito and ceviche. Not worth the visit and it has the same prices...More

Food was great, and it was relaxing having drinks and food right on the beach. Look for Alex Rocha, a great tour guide who can take you there!

Oysters in the yellow chili sauce- the flavors were spectacular. Octopus with yucca- excellent. Ceviche, excellent. Raviolis, excellent. Drinks excellent. Service EXCELLENT. These were all recommendations from our server, but I don't think you can go wrong. Enjoy!

Strongly recommend to visit! Food is amazing. Fresh and delicious! Loved it! Ceviche was amazing. Fresh - meaning not fried, as there is a lot of fried food around.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and good service. Their ceviche includes mustard seeds, which added a unique flavor. The langostinos with pureed yuca and Argentinian chorizo was delicious.

This was my favorite restaurant in Cartagena. Often the Peruvian ones seem to be the best in Latin America. The food was beautiful, creative, varied--we shared a number of outstanding small plates. Excellent cocktails too.

No, there is not a dress code. Almost all restaurants in Cartagena do not have a dress code. You can go even wearing shorts or bermuda shorts.
