Iguana Point is situated next to the Isabela sign where you will, no doubt, come and take a shot. We were greeted with genuine sweetness by the restaurant owner. She was just amazing in attention and care throughout the meal. We chose the shrimp salad...and the fish of the day ‘à la plancha’. Both dishes were simply amazing in freshness and taste. We have now remembered this as a remarkable place and will, no doubt, return!More

What a perfect place for lunch and dinner. we were lucky to make it there twice once for lunch once for dinner. lunch we had empanadas meat and chicken and they were perfect. Empanadas were fried in different type of oil than used to but...I need to find out because it is the best ever. The empanadas were crispy with a slight touch of sweetness. the inside fillings were very high-quality. the view cannot be beat. Prices are fair and we would have been there every day if we would’ve found it earlier in our trip. for dinner we had what is pictured here beef and chicken with mixed vegetables, the beef was very tender on a skewer and the chicken had been marinated and was flavored deliciously. Drinks were happy hour so the piña colada was made with coconut milk, Leche, and was the real deal, beer cold and large. We thoroughly enjoyed the place the service, the owner, the atmosphere, and the treatment that they gave us, please visit them and try anything on the menu as we asked around and all people were happy and satisfied with what they were eating.More

We loved this beach-front lunch spot! Food was great and at a good price. The host remembered us when we stopped in again the next day for a drink after a long walk.

I would preface this review with the fact that we were the first group (a family of 5) to arrive to the restaurant for lunch. We were recommended this place by another restaurant that wasn’t opened yet. They told us they could seat us. We...placed our beverage order right away. We then saw the restaurant seat 3 tables each with 2-3 people and then two tour group. On numerous attempts we tried to order and we were told that they would be right there. We saw the other tables and the tour groups get their beverages and place their orders. Finally we were able to place an order 30-40 mins after arrival. Our children ages 5-9 were as patient as could be. We asked how much longer our order would be as everyone that was seated after us got their food. 2 of my kids ordered quesadillas- literally 2 pieces of tortilla with cheese and whole slices of ham slightly heated. Very underwhelming. My son ordered a cheese sandwich and it came out with other items on it and when we told them it was incorrect they didn’t seem happy and questioned us. They then brought out my order twice and once again weren’t pleased when we said we only ordered one. I ordered ceviche - it arrived to my table quite warm. I have never had warm ceviche and It honestly would have been better cook. We never received a bill at the end of our lunch just a total amount for our order which seemed extremely high for what we had ordered. We were probably there for 2 hours. Only positive comment was that my husband ordered the soup special and said it was good. Worst service we received throughout our 2 weeks in Galapagos and waited to write this review to see if this was common and it is not the case at nearly every other restaurant we attended. Completely understand that tour groups most likely attend daily, however would have preferred their honesty to tell us they were too busy for us that day to serve us especially when we have children with us.More

Best Lunches and Breakfasts in Galápagos. I ate here nearly every day for 3 months, and a few times for breakfast if I woke up in time. Camilo and Nourama (sorry about spelling) are the friendliest owners. They have great service, and make great food....It has the best view out of any restaurant in Galápagos, right on the beach! Food always comes with a great juice, the best soups, and a few choices of main dish.More

The power went out at our hotel, so we were brought here for lunch. This place had a great combination of casual vibes, beautiful views, and delicious food - we had seafood rice and garlic shrimp with plantains. After our meal, we enjoyed a walk...on the beach across the street.More

We stayed on Isabela for 6 weeks volunteering, and this became one of our favourite hangouts. The service is good, the staff are friendly, the service is usually on point, and they have lovely fruit juices. I think what we liked most is the view...and the sea breeze - lots of the other restaurants face the main square so there are limited opportunities to eat on the beach. The wifi also works quite well; added bonus! Not sure what happened with the previous reviewer and their spare change - sounds annoying - but we didn’t experience anything sketchy in all our trips there - we must’ve eaten here at least 3 times a week, so that’s quite a few trips :)More

My Dad and I were looking for a quick and easy meal and our hotel recommended this place. We sat down where we had a view across the stunning light blue where we could see frigates sawing and boobies diving. The staff were were happy...and was able to have a conversation in English with us and the first course arrived within 10 minutes (we had the set menu). Later on through our lavish meal, we discovered there was a cat and we asked the staff who said the cat was called Seraphim. This is gave me some of my fondest memories of the Galapagos and I wish I could go back.More

We visited in December early evening and there were no other customers so it was a bit lacking in atmosphere. We went upstairs, but the staff never bothered to come and find us so we had to go downstairs to buy the drinks (cocktails -...happy hour 5 -7 pm) then wait ages for them to arrive. Hence the 3 star review. Upstairs there is a bar (which wasn't manned), pool table and bar tables overlooking the beach, the view was good and it was nice to watch the sun go down with a cocktail. Pity about the lack of interest in customers!More
