We were pleasantly surprised by an off-hand recommendation to dine here, but once it filled up by mostly locals, we can see why it seemed to fly under the tourist radar. The specials menu presented to each table on a chalk board was extensive and everything we ordered was seasoned perfectly. We will have to return for lunch when we... More

I have chosen the tuna trio for lunch which was amazing! The restaurant is situated in front of the sea which provides an peaceful & relaxing setting to enjoy your food. Highly recommend and you probably have to book it for evening dinners as it's very busy!

A bit off the beaten path. Great food and casual atmosphere. Quite different. You will enjoy the food, atmosphere and other guests. Food prices were quite fair.

Thanks to our Concierge, we had a table at the end of the wharf at the waterfront. Underwater lights allowed us to watch fish and stingrays during dinner. The menu had everything including steak, duck, fish and pizza...then add the 20+ nightly specials. My husband enjoyed the escargots appetizer and Duck for dinner. I had one of the fish specialities... More

We were invited to the Blue Banana by some local friends for a birthday lunch. When they first mentioned the name we didn't recognize it, but on arrival we realized that it had changed ownership, hence a different name. It is a great location, right on the water, and even has a nice wharf with some outdoor tables and a... More

Had a business dinner there and it was simply delicious!! You must try the Blue platter :) it's perfect. Also the pizzas are quite good and the desserts are very nice :) put it on your must go list while in Tahiti, you will be happy you did :) make sure you make a reservation.

Great food, excellent hospitality! Even wasn't that expensive (for Tahiti standards--food can be costly unless you buy at a food truck). Just like anywhere else food is more expensive at the tourist favorites.
