Nice place to eat on a hot evening. tables are outside and spread widely in a garden environment. Sparce menu but excellent food and wine. Certainly deserves it's top 10 ranking.

Wandered into Green Mamba for a treat but very disappointed. There is no menu outside so by the time you have walked up the long path & been seated by the loud generator you are committed. Service was slow & intrusive - with one waitress asking a stream of personal questions that was invasive even by Gambian standards. Not the... More

First impression was good, looked cozy and the food seemed to be good. Appearances can be deceiving. Very few waiters, which made the service almost non-existent (although the waiters were nice and did their best). Everything took a long time, we got frustrated. The food was so overcooked that it was inedible, fish and seafood tasted old. We tried to... More

Great concept! Great food! Great garden ambience! Select whatever you want from the raw buffet and they will stir fry it fresh just for you! Come again as often as you can manage... but may not be needed!

We ate twice and recommended to others staying nearby. A fantastic garden setting with lovely bar. Food excellent...my husband enjoyed the fact he could keep filling his plate from the interestingly combined asian and west african buffet. The concept of using peanut shell briquettes in specially designed stoves to cook ... what an enterprising idea and so ecologically friendly -... More

My husband and I came here on our first night in The Gambia and were very impressed with the lovely garden setting with tables set among the trees in hidden areas. The food was different and interesting, mainly Thai and you could choose from the menu or the buffet where you choose from a selection of fish, prawns meat, rice... More

We visited the Green Mamba twice during our holiday. They have great food but most of all the garden that the restaurant is situated in is amazing, what an ambiance!! And last but certainly not least are the nice waiters, specially Suleyman! Thanks my friend! You gave us a great time :-)

The food was excellent although a bit more expensive, close to the Senegambia Hotel where we were staying so good to visit if you tired and been out on a trip.

The setting is great with individual tables scattered around a garden area. We had the banquet meal which was great with an eat all you like buffet cooked to order.
