Wonderful food, excellent service, nice atmosphere. We really did enjoy the evenings spent at this restaurant. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will definitely be returning again later this month.

Having enjoyed a great steak and the Friday night buffet on my first trip I had to go again on a Friday and it's just as good as before with a nice range of both hot and cold food. The price has increased only slightly at 400 dalasi from last years 375. Try and get there earlyish though, some friends... More

Al-rouche should be called Al-rotten!! after eating in Al-basha and having a great lebanese meal there, we decided to compare the two resturants... Al-basha won hands down!! Rubbish service- the waiters couldnt even recommend a nice dish to try.... now i know why, as the food was rubbish!! I had a very bad belly the next day!! .Gambia has so... More

Al Rawse is just outside the Senegambia Hotel at the start of the Kololi strip. The lebanese food is tasty and well presented, and the service friendly and helpful. We visited 3 times so had a variety of dishes and they all were off a good standard.

Al-Rouche (they call themselves Al-Rawse at the restaurant) is located just outside the Kairaba Beach Hotel (qv) and the Senegambia Hotel in the Gambia area of Kololi. The food is good, well presented and tasty. It is interesting that other reviewers who marked it down had the buffet - we didn't I don't like buffet food - and what we... More

I eat lebanese food a lot. Every country I have visited including Lebanon I always eat lebanese food. I can surely tell this restaurant has the lowest quality of lebanese food I have ever experienced. I recommend no one to eat here, specially if your introducing yourself to lebanese cuisine. I tried a number of starters which were cold, hummus... More

If we had had more time, we would have visited this place again. The Friday night buffet was excellent value for money with a wide variety of dishes and to us, seemed like authentic Lebanese cooking - evidenced by several other Lebanese or Arab diners. The owner, from Beirut, was very friendly. We had called in earlier in the day... More

We've been to Al Basha's, the 'other' Lebonese restaurant on the strip a few times and after reading some reviews before we visited this time decided to give this one a go. We went to the buffet night as I had been to Al Basha's buffet night in January and I thought it would be a good comparison. The waiter... More

Tried the Friday night Buffet again, and if anything it was even better than last time. Particularly loved the mini chicken and beef shawama's, but the chicken keebabs and grilled prawns were also good. The price has now increased to 375 dalasi, but it is worth every penny, and the place was very popular as usual. My advise is to... More

Having just returned from another enjoyable holiday to the Gambia, the same cannot be said about this restaurant. Firstly the authentic lebanese take is false. Instead of a proper mince and filo pastry starter, I was served 5 mini cornish pasties. Part cooked at that. When complaint was made the owner once he could be prized from the tv screens... More
