The helpings are large enough for a quick lunch the next day with your leftovers. I had the pork chop. It was decent. I'm pretty sure this place is for seafoodies because my friends love the seafood. Looking at the ratings I'll have to try the fried chicken next time!

Had 5 for dinner so we had a variety - T-bone, fried chicken, beef and a sandwich. There was plenty of food and a delightful staff. Everything is cooked to order, so there is a bit of a wait. The salad was nice with lots of ingredients. Typical of Honduras, only one kind of dressing. Fried chicken was outstanding as... More

I ate here with a group of five, so was able to sample a few dishes. I ordered the Carne Asada (grilled beef) plate which was served with beans, greens, fresh pico de galo, cheese, and tortillas. The beef was flavorful, but very tough. Something I'm finding is pretty normal for the area. I didn't care for the cheese which... More

We heard this place was good and it sure was. The service was very mama's house and they are in no hurry but it was pleasant. I do suggest to go day light. Enjoy the mini boardwalk off the same street but be vigilant it can seem unsafe but only at night fall. Food was awesome and a large amount... More

Great food at decent prices. Staff is very friendly. We went for lunch and the restaurant was packed - regardless, food was served fairly quickly. Definitely my favorite place to eat in Tela!

I was a bit disappointed in Northern Lights, perhaps because it had been so highly recommended by a Honduran acquaintance. The night I ate there, I was the only customer, which probably should have been a clue. I ordered the grilled fish filet, which came with a salad, rice, and fries. The salad was very good (large and extraordinarily fresh).... More

This is great restaurant with fresh and plentiful seafood. The back room was large enough, but could have used another fan or two.

We were 5 people visiting the place, we order Fried Fish and Conch Soup. The quality of the Fish was very good but the Soup, not really what we expected. Other servers came asking to other tables who order the Soups to start, our server was sent somewhere else. This used to be a very good restaurant with very good... More
