We visited the restaurant situated in the heart of the town during lunch time and found it buzzing with patrons. The service was quick and the food was quite good. We sampled both prawns and fish and came away happy with the preparations. we would wholeheartedly recommend this place for a good and value for money experience. They also accept... More

The moment I entered ananda restaurant there was a smell of urine in the entire hotel. Atmosphere was total unhygienic. Vegetarians should avoid this hotel.since the surroundings was so unhygienic I decided to leave the restaurant immediately.

This is one of the busiest non-veg restaurant you would find in and around Port Blair. One must try fish-tikka here as its preparation was awesome. The vegetarian dishes are not bad either. Although the place is bit noisy because of the number of customers.

Good food. Reasonably priced & varied menu both veg and non veg. It is a crowded place & we prefered to get our lunch packed. Can be tried once during the visit.

Ananda was perhaps the better of other restaurants that we visited. The staff was courteous and jovial. The food had an Indian twist to its continental dishes and the ambience was good.

Good taste food is served here (veg & non veg both). Must have your food over here as it's good and not much costly too as other restaurants nearby.

The restaurant serves good fresh and hygeinic food. The special ananda Biryani is a must try. Please don't expect North Indian flavour in andamans but the taste is good for all of the dishes. Ambience doesnot seem that great and due to crowd the place seems a little congested, but afterall the food is good so people flock to it..... More

I went with my family on 20 dec16. Overall a good restaurant. Moderately priced. Ordered tandoori fish and chicken with paneer butter masala and roti. Bill was around 1000. All dishes were awesome especially Chicken and fish smell inside the restaurant was a bit fishy so very strict Vegetarian's can take a call but overall a nice experience

Ananda Restaurant is situated at the heart of the city with ample seating. The restaurant has recently been renovated and made fully airconditioned. Serves both Vegetarian and Non-Vetarian dishes. Taste is good. The service is a bit slow, but overall a good restaurant.
