I got the tiger burger with green chili! Oh man it was awesome! It's cool how the set up is, like an old car hop from back in the day. You pull up they bring you a menu, and you turn your lights on when...More

We stopped in for a quick bite after visiting White Sands. The burgers were tasty and the staff was great.

A sign at the Hi-D-Ho says something like "This isn't fast food. It's good food." That's true. You may have to wait a little while, but the burgers are worth it. We were staying one night in Alamogorda and chose to go to Hi-D-Ho rather...More

Not just in Alamo, but in the entire state. I have eaten them all. Order the Tiger Burger, but be prepared to share. It is huge.

This small business is a hidden gem amongst 30 other eating establishments along White Sands Boulevard. The burgers and burritos were generous with home cooked flair. However, be patient as thick burgers take a while to cook.

We had dogs. Two chili dogs to be precise and a plain. Thick, about one inch thick. Both were good. Fries were passable. Chose the place because it was busy.

Nice old fashioned kind of drive in. We sat at tables on a covered patio in front. Burgers with the chiles are best!

Classic drive-in. Food is cooked to order so is not 'immediately available, but it is good. The small Tiger Burger is big enough for most folks,,, the Super Tiger is 'hungry teen-ager' or 'working man' size. I always get green chile & cheese on mine.
