Excellent dining is a restored old home. Quaint atmosphere and history. The food was very good. Noted for the potato soup - it was delicious! Stopped there after a visit to White Sands. The place is up for sale, so if you're considering it, go now! Most of us had the fried cod and it was excellent - good with... More

This was our third time visiting Alamogordo & our third time visiting Memories. The food is acceptable (frozen vegetables notwithstanding), the atmosphere pleasant and, until last night, the service adequate. The initial server was very friendly, and was able to list the beers on tap when asked. However, that's not what she served which was a bottle. Not to worry,... More

Great food. Home style atmosphere. Some items were a bit pricy for me but I have never had a bad meal there.

Stopped for lunch after going to white sands. Service and food were both great. They have kids menu which had several good options. I had sandwich on crossaint, soup and salad - nice size portions too.

On a hot July Saturday night in Alamogordo, we were searching for a fine dining experience – we found it at MEMORIES RESTAURANT. What began as a lovely private home, then enhanced with lots of history, is now a charming and romantic upscale restaurant in the middle of Alamogordo. The menu is extremely broad and diversified, from all sorts of... More

A older home turned into a lovely restaurant! The service was excellent and our steaks were cooked to perfection! The place has a AAA rating. Nice place to eat and see.

This restaurant is in an old converted home. It's tastefully decorated without being overdone. There is a very good variety of starters, entrees, and desserts, all moderately priced. I had the chicken fried steak while my wife had the chicken cordon bleu, and both were very good. The meal ended with coconut cream pie. One very positive note is the... More

There were six people in our group including two picky ten year olds. Everyone had a different selection for lunch and all enjoyed their food. The Victorian furniture and decor added charm to the delicious meal. The Grandma's lemon meringue pie was a real hit with this Grandma.

We had traveled ALL day and was nice to have a quiet place to eat. Food and desserts were good. My dessert was yummy, fresh and warm out of the oven.

Found Memories to be a great little restaurant. Not too busy on a Tuesday night. Food was delicious and prices less than you would pay at a chain restaurant. I had catfish and there are three planks. Grandson's child's meal was plenty of food for him. Well worth the visit.
