If you like gujarati food, this is the place to go. They serve you in a sitting down arrangement. The utensil museum is worth visiting (there is separate ticket) for that.

A visit to Vishalla is a must when we come to Amdavad....this time after a gap of 8 years! Vishalla has nothing new to offer, and was a totally dismal experience...the uninterested puppeteers with their shabby puppets, the uncomfortable wooden bethaks with jute so shabby and dingy surroundings, inadequate lighting...even villages have better facilities. If they wanted to portray a... More

to get an ethnic experience in food and decor, one of the best places to visit. the staff is also dressed in traditional wear and there are cots to sit on for your meal, with a rural sort of decor to give you a village feel.

Unfortunately we went on the Christmas Day with lots of people around. We had to wait for more than an hour and watch various puppet shows, did garba and lots of stuff. However as they just have regular lanterns instead of lights it was dark and dingy. The food was great and the sitting down experience is as amazing. I... More

Real Village felling. We always take our guest to Vishala as this is only one village restaurant which gives actual village visit felling. 1) Visit house hold and utensils Museum 2) clay vessels are made inside restaurant 3) Hospitality is excellent. 4) Real village hygiene food with good taste.

Vishala serves lunch and Dinner in their dining area. They also serve various snacks (basically gujarati farsan) during the whole day. We have had food at various times and the food is amazing. The dinner time ambiance is like a Rajathani/Gujarati Village with Lantern lights all round. As we enter ,you are greeted with flower and tikka ( a traditional... More

We went with office team. The food was really nice as it was pure Gujarati. Many number of items were served. Along with food they have fun arrangements as well like dance etc. Should visit once with friends or even family. Great place to spend time along with having food.
