So if you want top quality Japanese food in Gurgaon, this is the place. As always, the place was nearly empty @8pm on a Sunday. Along with the location inside a pure office building, this can be disconcerting. This is not a people watching place. This was our second visit after a few years. Had very nice California, Ebiten, and... More

It was a decent Japanese place but I personally felt that it's way too overpriced. I can get the same quality of Japanese food for less in other places. The atmosphere and service was good though. Maybe we were paying extra for that.

Excellent food, great sushi and sashiimi. A bit steep on the pocket but it is worth it. Don't forget to try their chawanmushi.

A nice place with decent Japanese food. The ambience is good and the staff is attentive. All in all, the place is atleast a one time visit.

I went to sakura after hearing good things about it from my friends and its really a good place for sushi. The uramaki and temaki(handrolls) are authentic and good sake selections.even i tried the nigiris, they were fresh and cut perfectly.value for money a must try

Entered this restaurant @9pm on a Saturday night and found it deserted (we left at about 10:15pm and still there was no sign of any customers), we should have taken that as a sign for things to come. Read some good reviews about the food served here, well if those reviews are correct then i think that now the standards... More

I love the food at Sakura! One of my first introductions to Japanese cuisine happened in Sakura - at the Metropolitan Hotel in New Delhi. I was overjoyed when they opened a branch in Gurgaon. Fresh ingredients and great taste - Sakura rivals any great Japanese restaurant in the hear of Tokyo. It is an expensive restaurant but you are... More

I think the cost performance of their set menu (teishoku) is unbeatable. I can easily pay the same price in Khan Market or elsewhere and get a plate of California rolls as an appetizer. Here you get a full meal with real sashimi that is close to the taste of home.

It feels odd to visit the Sakura restaurant in the evening as you enter an office building and use the elevator to get to the first floor. Next to the office of Sennheiser you will find the entrance. The restaurant offers a nice Japanese experience with fresh ingredients even far away from any ocean. That comes with a price tag.

Excellent quality food, calm ambience and service, it could easily be in Japan. The very unexpected way of entering makes going to Sakura a personal discovery each time, I go there at least every fortnight. There is a so-called buffet on Saturdays, which is a 'eat as much as you want from the menu' offer for which big appetites are... More
