The restaurants we fancied were all full beyond capacity so we were forced to try out Talk of the town. Its is a family run restaurant and I suspect the kitchen too is manned bu the family. The food takes really long to be served and it is not that cheap. We paid INR 900 for 2 soft drinks ,... More

We enjoyed our evening at Talk of The Town, and had a very good meal. Lovely mother, grandmother and children. Felt like eating in someone's home, as opposed to a restaurant, which was a plus for us.

The food was alright but service was very slow. We had to wait for a good 45min for a butter chicken. Prawn curry was not available due to lack of ingredients.

Not going to say it's the best food we've have in India however it's worth the money and the owners are really nice. Definitely worth a visit!

From the street it looked packed but as we got upstairs you could see the only few tables were by the window! We ordered uncomplicated meals which took over an hour to arrive and food was average. They got our order wrong and the elderly woman was pretty rude. We were disappointed with our experience here

The small amount food we ordered took over an hour and was basic. The older lady at the counter then was rude. Wouldn't recommend it.

Seems that not so much Tourists find the way up to the stairs. This is a pitty, because it is very good food you find here and the athmosphere is absolutely familiar. Go there and find the real kerala kitchen.

As a traveller, I usually look for the local food to savour the true taste of the place.. However at Fort Kochi one wonders what are pizza joints and momos doing here... Common guys.. we have keralities Christians and the coast.. bring on the fish.. Asking around I was guided to this place called Talk of the Town. A corner... More

Looking around for a moderate restaurant we noticed this small outlet. We decided to pop in to see what is in store for us. Its a family run business and the owner, an old lady welcomed us with a smile. There were not many guests inside but after the order was taken this lady went missing. After much hunting around... Truly fabulous tasty food. Don't be put off with the bland decor because the food isn't. A family business where they all help to spoil the customer.
