This place serves a wonderful dessert called the sea queen surprise. We only came here for dessert. Worth it if you're in the mood for a snack.

Right next to the sea cliff, with great selection of fresh seafood. You select the seafood and they prepare the way you want it. Prices include preparation. Recommend giant prawns and snapper. The calamari was just OK since the dough was off. Have an extensive cocktail menu. But I would stay away from anything with "freshly squeezed" fruits. Only one... More

We ordered a fish that they cut it in front of us. When they served it, it was not the same! Finally they accepted and of course, we didn't eat it and didn't pay it. we moved to another restaurant. So, be careful what you order and what they give to you.

Second night to visit this excellent seafood restaurant on North Cliff. Have had the opportunity to visit many of the restaurants along the cliff and this is definitely the best seafood fayre. Golden fry calamari, grilled red snapper and the best swordfish I've ever tasted. Cold adult beverages served in Goa mugs by attentive and pleasant staff. Get to it!

Among the long list of restaurants that you see along the line of Varkala cliff, if you are looking for an authentic Kerala style food, this is the place to be. It has the beautiful view like most other restaurants, but the service was amazing, they actually listen and understand your likings. Also the foods are considerably priced and not... More

The food I took was always very good, while my friend had a bit of a "meh" experience, I can tell you that for sure the chicken and the aubergine curries were really good and the cheapest on the menu.

I have ordered swordfish, it was very good prepared and very tasty with ginger lemon butter and the price was unexpected cheap (with salat and rice all together) 250 rupeh. Staff is very kind and giving honest ansver like if the fish is frozen etc.

Fantastic sea food with best service you could ever get. Walked by the restaurant but didn't go in the first place. Checked at restaurants around and went back here. Good prices and old uncle who welcomes you with good smile makes your day.

Traveling in Varkala off-season brings warnings from many of it's own people, not to eat "just anywhere." I'm so glad I found the Sea Queen & went often during the 10 days there. It was my favorite place to eat not only because the food was excellent, but also because being greeted by the happiest, most peaceful man in Varkala... More
