Had lunch here and the dosas (dosai?) were first-rate. Fairly basic décor but staff were friendly, food good - and cheap.

The restaurant was near to Janadhana swamy temple. It serves usual Kerala food. I had ate lunch with my family. The backside view from the restaurant is not so good. The temple pond behind the restaurant is under renovation. Since there are lots of guests on the day i visited the hotel, i feel like the food is fresh. The... More

We ate here every day, morning chai and breakfast. Chai was a bit bitter with the sugar, but no worse than most other locations in Kerala or Tamil Nadu. This is a local's restaurant. There is no catering for foreigners, so if that's not your cup of tea then your should find another location. That being said, food is pretty... More

This used to be one of our favourite restaurants in Varkala, partly because of the great view over Temple Tank, but also the food. Now it seems to be on the brink of dying: no more menus, the good chairs have gone, you don't feel welcome any longer. A great shame, because I still have fond memories of them, but... More

I have written already on review of this place based on our first experience with this place. We have visited few more times and I have changed my mind. There are few problems: - Waiters do not care a much but what more - they usually overcharge you. When you complain at the cash desk, they perform funny mathematical operations... More
