Typical Odiya food was not available to the locals or the tourist. Observing the need for an Odiya cuisine restaurant the promoters of this restaurant decided to address this niche market and open an Odiya cuisine restaurant named DALMA. On the auspicious day of Chandan Jatra, its near of the patia bhubaneswar.

Had lunch at Dalma and it was as expected. Good honest oriya food. We took the mutton thali which I recommend.

I have been there couple of times found the food was not that great in comparison with the other restaurants in the city.

We saw this restaurant in both Lonely Planet and Tripadvisor do decided to give it a go. It is primarily for locals so may not be quite what you are expecting. The food is luke warm and average at best but staff are friendly and prices reasonable. We probably made bad choices but avoid the Thali as most not great!

Must visit place if one has a palette for oriya cuisine. Though the price is higher for the quantity. Their mutton kasa and porotha is worth trying.

I don't like the hospitality of the hotel. They are not customer conscious infact u need to hire their attention for every time u need like water or something.
