The service was good when i visited The Culinarium. Price is on a higher-end, the ambience is good & they have good parking space as well. View from the restaurant is good. As I mentioned, food is costly and you can expect a minimum bill of Rs.500 if you plan to have a filling meal from this place.

A cozy cafe tucked away just off the highway leading to Ooty, it offers amazing , (but limited selection) of French Cuisine. The cafe has its own bakery with mouthwatering breads and pastries- to eat and to take away. The food is very tasty ,authentic- and rich ! Ideal for a relaxed leisurely lunch. The staff is efficient, courteous, and well trained. The cleanliness and hygiene levels deserve to be complemented. Definitely a place to revisit.

We, husband, son and 10 year old grandson, were indeed fortunate to have lunched here as our stay was short and weather, traffic etc.was unpredictable. The lovely ambience and delicious main course were “ every bite” relished and devoured ! Dessert! Mmmmm! If we ever visit Conoor again , it will be , ” Culinarium ! here we come!”

The place is great with good ambience and nice location. The price point may seem little high for some but totally worth it because the food the serve deserves it . The food choices are plenty and they have vast options like bakery items , pot pies , Lasagna, pizza , ice creams , pasta , fish and chips and other continental items. They have a small area for purchasing clothes as well They have ample parking space also . The person in charge Mr. Manoj was very sweet , helpful & welcoming . Had a nice time

We were really looking forward to enjoy a lunch here and drove from gudalir after 4 calls to warn in and cnfm our reservation. One family member is gluten intolerant and despite many conversations we arrived to find that a preorder for sourdough bread for him had been overlooked, a simple request for one dish with a veg based sauce curry was not possible.. According to one service staff. I was very upset and ready to leave when another staff stepped in and did his utmost to mitigate the poor client management of his colleague... In fact all the other service people were very polite and efficient. Ambience was horrible.. A small hotbox of a room with no ventilation, imagine it was so hot that we thought we were back in chennai! Flies flies flies galore.. Tho the staff did try thier best to kill them . Food was average, not worth all the discomfort we had to put up with.. And overpriced for the experience. . For me culinarium was an utter waste of time effort and money as an experience.

Firstly,no cloth napkins but tissues available.secondly the starter came after the main course. The food was very average for the price of the dishes.Lamb goulash was very average and the lamb pot pie was pathetic.Three measly pieces of lamb which was like rubber with some sauce in a pie. The accompaniment of salad was really sad.

Food is very good. We had the Potato croquettes, vegetarian pot pie, spinach cannelloni, roasted pumpkin & zucchini soup, potato soup, chefs Salad. And for desserts we had the chocolate mousse, peanut praline ice cream and creme brulee. The croquettes and pot pie were okay, the rest of the food was excellent. In desserts, the creme brulee was great and the others were okay. Was disappointed that some of the items on the menu were unavailable, like the mushroom lattice. Getting a table here can be an effort as people jus chill, soaking in the view and don't vacate the table soon. So despite having a confirmation that we'll get a table, we still had to wait over 30 min. But the food was worth the wait. Recommend reserving a table here if you are planning to visit. The staff is hospitable and very well versed in English, which is quite heartening for people who don't speak Tamil.

If you are in Ooty or Coonoor, please make sure that you visit this place which is 6 km away from both the places. The food is continental. They have brilliant bakery items too. They also serve liquors. The ambience is truly European and the view from the restaurant is awesome. You will surely love the food. I strongly recommend this place.

This is a fine dining place in Conoor, located on a ridge overlooking farmland and tea estates. Their food and bakery products are to die for. We had thick creamy mushroom cappuccino soup, Spinash Cannellini, and Swiss Chard Quiche, the latter slightly overdone with the crust burnt. This went to dropping the rating from 5 to 4. There were flies all over the place, another minus point in their disfavour. Happy to notice the servers all wearing masks, unlike in other restaurants.

I used to love Culinarium so much so that I would plan a trip to this region just to be able to visit this cafe. However this time I was slightly disappointed. It could be because they just reopened and didn't have their entire menu. We had their chicken and leek pie which was good however the veg mille fille was average. Perhaps they are still getting their act together. Will revisit once things settle down and they start serving their entire menu.

Another tasty authentic Conti meal. Been coming here for the past five years and standards are still as good. Culinarium has upped the restaurant game in Ooty, I see there’s an improvement in older restaurants trying to keep up and new ones starting up. Service is excellent. Will be back nxt month too. Can’t wait.

We’ve been coming twice a year to Ooty and at least two meals at Culinarium is a MUST. Never fails to impress. Delicious & great clean ambience. Bought a whole lot of their super frozen foods. Excellent packaging, lasted all the way back to Kerala.

Discovered this little gem of a place on the Connoor Ooty highway. And a simply must must visit if you are in the area. Frech cuisine but just out of this world. The pot pie pastry was just delectable as were the bruschetta and the olio de aglio pasta. And topped off by the excellent service by Adam and Harish. Highly recommended.

Excellent service. Ram is a people’s person. We were recommended by a friend and food as well as the service turned out to be great. We absolutely loved the ambience, the vibe and even the presentation of food. I will recommend the restaurant to all my friends travelling to Ooty & Coonoor. Cullinarium added thr cherry to the cake (the trip). Kudos to the team

Stunning place, pleasantly surprised with this place. The location is spectacular, great location to watch the sun set on a clear day. They have indoor and outdoor sections. The menu is extensive. We tried some of the Italian and oriental food both were very well prepared. Our best meal in Coonoor across the various very good places we visited during our stay there.
