This small little restaurant (with literally 4 tables) may make some claustrophobic, but just made me drool. As our first stop in Agra, this was an excellent introduction to some local Indian food that is outside of Delhi. We ate in Joney's a couple of times, banana lassis and fresh mango juice are a must! The place is small but full of atmosphere and friendly conversation. Authentic food cooked very well no matter what the cuisine. No frills, delicious food at a great prices.

Very good value for money and surprisingly crossing the road to the beach and beach side restaurant is not a problem. Clean..comfortable..good food...helpful staff. All as it should be despite low price and star rating.

Joney's place is very small and simple, but the food is delicious..DELICIOUS! really. The owner and his songs are very lovely. I tried breakfast, lunch and dinner and everything was perfect. It's a small restaurant, but the chef is amazing, he is also the owner, each meal is made on the spot, fresh. And he knows how to make great Israeli shakshuka. Respect!

In Agra either there's really luxury and/or expensive places or there's...nothing. Joney's place IS the good new!! They serve excellent food at a friendly price. Malai kofta is nothing less than succulent, palak paneer is a unique recipe, well a pleasant surprise! We were in Agra for three days so we tried many things on the menu, breakfast is good... More

Well, I guess you will visit the Taj Mahal early morning. Just exit from the south gate and you will find Joney's! This is The place to be for breakfast. Ok, the entrance is not really attractive, we hesitate a little bit before going inside. We went for Mango lassi, omelette and toasts and coffee. How much we loved it?... More

We were recommended to go here for the lassies and we ended up eating here for three meals in 24hours!! Whilst the restaurant is tiny and eclectic and could maybe do with an update, it had a certain charm about it as well. The owner and all the staff are lovely, and their recommendations are spot on. Also if you... More
