On our last day in Varanasi we ate in the Dosa cafe. Although the food tasted good we both got sick afterwards. day. I am now sick already for a week so it is something serious. I have thought about other sources but it cause has to be the Dosa cafe.

My partner and I ate here several times during our stay in Varanasi. Everything we ordered was delicious! The owner is very kind, we ate mostly what he recommended and were very pleased. It's a small spot, only three tables but good for small groups or if you're okay sharing a table. If you can't find it ask the locals.

Great food. We tried lots of different things and was so tasty. Street food vibe but in a small restaurant. Everything was great until we tried to pay. We only had a 2000 note in which the owner turned his nose up and said he didn't have change and he couldn't help us. My partner then spent TWENTY Mins trying... More

I went crazy and took a dosa with banana and chocolate fried in ghee. Also got syrup. I'm sort of happy I took it as take away. I couldn't help making "mmm"-sounds when eating it. :D

Good south Indian but not better then other restaurants around. Idli was also good. Only 3 tables. Looks like a tourist exclusive place.

This place serves amazing variety of Dosas in the gallis of Varanasi. Being a south Indian, I wasn't initially fascinated to visit a Dosa place. After 5 days in Varanasi, I wanted to try Dosa and the varieties were really amazing. I tried a Cheese Masala Dosa and a few other varieties. Delicious!

If you are looking for south Indian food in Varanadi you can bank upon the Dosa Cafe a mini size restaurant in the city. The preparations are unique in whole of Varanasi and comparable to those best available in the country...the restaurant is situated in a narrow lane not easy to locate...please ask the locals at Dasaswamedh road for Man Mandir... Dosa cafe is a nice place situated near the Dasaswamedh and man mandir Ghats.. I tried out the marsala dosa and vada.. both the dishes were pretty good.. the sambar could have been a little better.. but a nice place to dine for a hygienic meal.. please note that Google maps sometimes does not point to the right location when...
