Probably the best food we had within walking distance of our hotel. Not only was the food delicious, the presentation was impeccable. 👌 We only ate local dishes, but there's an assortment of western eats as well if you need a break from Indo / Balinese food (although I can't see why you would). We'd also recommend accompanying your meal... More

Referring only to the Sunday Market at Cafe Batu Jimbar (not the cafe itself), you should pop in and try it. Set up in the yard in front of the cafe are trestle tables where you can choose from a wide variety of traditional snacks and meals as you gradually move forward in the queue. The atmosphere is busy and... More

Loved the food. The sharing starting was fabulous, as was the main pictures. We came back here many times for the cake which was great! Thoroughly recommend the lemon meringue and date slice!!! Not that cheap but well worth it!

We were here on New Years day. Nice atmosphere with a band playing Latin music and the locals dancing Zumba :). Strange feeling though to eat Balinese rijsttafel with Gloria Estefan tunes on the back ground. The food however was decent and the prices OK! A lot of staff that could pay more attention though. All in all we had... More

Back after two years and still as good! 4 of us enjoyed our meals. Enjoyed prawn curry, and Fish. Meals were fresh and tasty. Good selection on menu, something for everyone. Dinned indoors was rather hot even with fans on.

I was staying nearby but avoided eating here, as it looked like a total tourist trap. It was exhaustingly hot, I couldn't bear to wander another step and wanted one last meal before heading to the airport. The place was crowded, so figured the food would be fresh. I was so pleasantly surprised. It was 11:45am, past the time they... More

I would go to Cafe Batu Jimbar whenever I'm in Sanur. The food is excellent, prices are reasonable and the service is good. I've tried both the Western and Indonesian food . Both are always well cooked and delicious. It's worth a visit.
