Service was superb. Food was superb. Setting was superb. Dannih was the concierge and Yudi and Edi were our servers. All excellent. The meal was the 3 course set meal. We had the beef tartar as an appetizer. Followed by the sea bass main course. For dessert we had the 'eight o'clock' and a flan. The compete dinner was truly... More

RESTAURANT'S FAVOURITE REVIEW
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 January 2017

We stayed at the Viceroy and ate here multiple times during our trip. The service was on par with the best fine dining restaurants, while maintaining the Balinese warmth you would expect in Ubud. The food is spectacular and the menu offers some Indonesian specialties and international favorites.

Stopped in for lunch. Ordered off the menu. Found the prices not bad considering the type of restaurant. Had the confit duck which was roughly $25 Australian. For the portion size and the cooking that went into it I thought was great value. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and views. Would go back again maybe for dinner

I can't fault this restaurant. If you like fine dining put this on your list, we went for a romantic meal and were not disappointed, from the minute we arrived the welcome was fantastic the service superb and the food sublime. The head chef came out to talk to us and tell us about himself and his food vision. WE... More

My husband and I were staying at the Kamandalu resort in Ubud and were looking to go somewhere different for dinner. After reading fantastic reviews online we decided to try Cascades. First of all we were thrilled that the bell boy from The Viceroy, where the restaurant is based, actually came to our resort which is just down the road,... More

We stayed at the Viceroy, so we had the pleasure of eating at Cascades for breakfast each day as well as enjoying their romantic candlelit dinner by the pool on the last night of our honeymoon. The dinner was a 6 course degustation menu which was amazing. Everything was cooked and presented perfectly, with the portion sizes being just right... More

Dropped in for a late lunch and what can I say but the chef at this place is a food engineer! The dishes combine fantastic flavours and each mouthful is like a party in your mouth. I recommend a visit here regardless of where you are staying in Bali. We will be back guaranteed!

We went to Locavore, Bridges and Copper Kitchen while in Ubud and thought this restaurant exceeded all of them. Prices are not cheap (by Ubud standards) but certainly worth it in terms of quality. The warm bread is the best we had in Bali, served with several delicious butter like garlic or truffle. There was always a little mouse bouche... More

Let me start by saying that Cascades had one of the biggest input in our stay in Bali ( which Kuta where we were staying that it is not pleasant due to several incidents ) but this place gave it a good twist and changed the atmosphere to our trip. I made a last minute reservation in this place after... More
