I couldn't believe my eyes as we stepped into this restaurant. A day time meal would give you better views of the outside. Definitely visit for a meal when you are in Ubud. They have two signature dishes recommended,I loved the paella but the other one was just ok.

Dear Ya Thanks so much for your super kind review. It's great you enjoyed the paella - I would love to know what the other signature dish was that you ordered. That way I can make to better. We do hope we see you again Best Janet More

Best beef rendang we had all holiday. The staff were lovely and the food was really good. It is more expensive than other places around but it was definitely worth it

Visit Indus Restaurant before sundown. We saw the spectacular view for less than an ideal time as we arrived at 6:30pm. Just saw a glimpse of the sprawling valley view.

About 30 of us dined here and the staff could not have been more helpful. They split the bill for each family grp which was no trouble at all. I thought the starter of samosas was the Mia delicious thing I've tried while in ubud. For four of us with beer and a bottle of wine, it cost $nz 130... More

We went here for lunch as part of a trip. It was a set menu and I can personally say I didn't enjoy the food. I don't know what it was but the vegetarian food was bland and not tasty. We sent it back and got a pizza instead ...the staff were happy to accommodate this at no extra cost.... More

Dear Heepak Thank you so much for taking the time to write about Indus. We are so sad you didn't enjoy your food and even sadder you had to eat pizza after your vegetarian meal. But I have to admit that the coconut gelato is my all-time fav coconut ice cream. It's made from fresh coconut milk as opposed to... More

We had the nasi goreng, spring rolls, and lassi. The place has a very warm staff and the location is not in central Ubud but is worth going to. We enjoyed the food, and the service was efficient, which was not something we got from a lot of local restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Ubud who... More

Tired of the craziness of Ubud and in search of a good meal in a serene setting? Check out :"Indus". It had the best food we ate during our three days in Ubud: interesting menu (check the Sumatra chicken). And weather permitting, sit on the terrace for amazing views!

Despite the torrential rain, we enjoyed this local eatery. A great assortment of local dishes with there own delicious homemade sambal and authentic accompaniments. Lived the mee goreng, nasi goreng, Bebek duck (ordered one day before) and local fish in banana leaves. Nice welcoming staff and very well priced, noted the comments on pricing from other reviewers but I suggest... More

We are three 70 year old blokes who on our last night decided to splash out and dine out at Indus and enjoy an early dinner, to enjoy the view during daylight. Sick of beer we had cocktails which were fine. We drank slowly and several times had to send the attentive staff away as we didn't want to eat... More

Dear Foamcrest. Such a cute review if not rather puzzling. I'm wondering how much alcohol you drank and I love the fact that the staff wanted to call your wives. I'm curious what your mates ate or did they just keep drinking? Anyhow, how about I shout you a meal on your return and show you that we have so... More
