If you're looking for simple Indonesian/Balinese food at very reasonable prices - this is the place. We had ayam kalasan, balinese chicken, nasi campur and grilled vegetables. All modestly-sized, competently done (chicken was succulent) with tasty sauces and side veges/salads, but nothing amazing. Desserts were fairly simple - try the kripparadise for something different. Drinks were cheap. Service was fine,... More

Was walking past so came for dinner, still sitting here while I wait for desert haha. The food was incredible, no faults at all. The tandoori chicken hubby had Ayam kalasan I had I gave it a 4 star based on the music because it just gets a little irritating whilst you are sitting. Flute fancy music and it's too... More

A nice restaurant in the middle of Monkey Forest Street. The food is tasty, well presented and well priced. The service is very friendly.

The Sagitarius restaurant is part of the Sagitarius Inn in Ubud. We dined here while in Ubud, a very basic meal on Monkey Forest Street, of fish (ikan) prepared Ubud style, and grilled tuna. Both dishes were pleasant if basic fare, with good accompliments and the meal was cheap. Each dish was 50,000IDR, and a bintang on the side. Typical... More

The hotel with several small houses and a pool is located in the touristical center of Ubud (between monkey forest and the royal palace). Staff is very friendly and daily maintenance of garden and pool are impeccable. The lawn is cut by hand everyday! Air on works really well, best of all 4 hotels we've visited in this price range.... It was a very humid day (for us) and we didn't want lunch, just place to sit and have a cold drink. There was no problem with us not eating, had a lovely Singapore sling and he had a Bintang. We appreciated the free Wifi - surprised to find this after we ordered.

Got attracted by the crispy duck on the specials menu. Had half a duck on the plate which must have been starved to death and over cooked. Got one mouth full of meat off it, was all skin and bone. Service very slow, waited half hour for bill, then went up to counter to pay. Left the restaurant still hungry... More

After many many times eating at this place, I can say without a doubt that it offers the best value in the area in my opinion.Fresh, delicious salads, local dishes including the best nasi campur Ive had in Ubud, and a varied and interesting menu. Also a large range of smoothies and healthy juices, my favourite being the tumeric.

Ate here twice in past week, especially good chicken nuggets & chips for the little ones, good variety for adults too from local dishes to western. Best lemon squash had all week. Lovely staff with great sense of humour too! Will return again eagerly on next trip to Ubud.
