A signature restaurant at The Kayon Valley Resort Ubud, Kepitu Restaurant is set in the resort’s epicenter with an uninterrupted 180 degrees view over the Kayon swimming pool and tropical jungle terrain. Its unique shape design using ironwood, bamboo, and Sirat Roof creates an idyllic Ubud atmosphere for either long lunches, afternoon cocktails, or romantic dinners. The lunch menu is a light and nutritious selection of sandwiches and salads. The dinner menu is Western, Asian, and Signature Kepitu dishes in a Royal Balinese setting. Opt for the weekly Culture Diner program for an authentic Ubud experience, or reserve a romantic dinner for two on its floating sky roof deck with The Kumba Karna Statue setting.

Lovely restaurant with a stunning view. We stayed at Kayon Valley Resort with meals included at Kepitu Restaurant as part of a package. The food was great but live music (more suited for a lobby lounge/bar) was too loud during dinner time which spoilt the romantic atmosphere. Made it hard to converse too. The restaurant staff however were wonderful & friendly. Special thanks to Oka, Ari & Gede who took such good care of us during mealtimes.

The restaurant is phenomenal from start to finish, but what stood out the most was the service. Special shout out to Oka and Nano for always making our time special. They go above and beyond for us and if something as simple as a spoon falling from the table happens, they would jump and help momentarily. Also, we took a cooking class with the chef, and we were able to learn so much from his 20 years of experience, and his dish selections were excellent . Finally, the view from the restaurant is breathtaking. You get a 270 degree view of the Ubud forest from the top with occasional sights of monkeys (theyre friendly dont worry) :)

From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm smile and an inviting ambiance. The breakfast surpassed all expectations with its freshness and quality. Each dish was a flavor revelation, from the perfectly cooked eggs to the freshly baked bread. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and prompt without being intrusive. This place masterfully blends comfort and quality in a way that makes every visit memorable. I am definitely returning for more culinary discoveries and delightful mornings here.

The food and atmosphere were wonderful. But what truly made our dining experience 5 stars was our server Oka, she was quick to respond to any of our requests, and even suggested a tea for me when I told he my stomach was hurting from the night before. The next day when we came she remembers our names and made us feel like part of the family. She is definitely an asset to this establishment!

WOW!! Where do I even begin?! Sujanas was our waiter for our romantic honeymoon dinner at Kepitu and we will honestly remember it for the rest of our lives. He was the absolute best. He went above and beyond to make our entire experience top notch from beginning to the end. He was incredibly kind, informative and provided phenomenal service. The food was amazing from the flavors to the presentation and everything tasted really fresh.
On top of the amazing food and amazing service, Sujanas went above and beyond to make the rest of our stay at the Kayon Valley amazing. He learned that we were going on a 4 am tour the next day and arranged for breakfast boxes to be prepared for us in the morning before we left. How amazing is that?
I could honestly go on and on about every little detail that made the experience so great but I’ll just say that this place leaves nothing to be desired. 10/10 experience - I highly recommend and will definitely be coming back during my next trip to Bali. Thank you Sujanas and the entire Kepitu & Kayon team!! Every single member of the staff was incredible - every person!

We stayed 14 nights at the kayon valley hotel so we had breakfast, afternoon tea and dinners. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful with lots of great choices, I especially loved the strawberry smoothie bowl. The afternoon tea was lovely, full of nice little treats. We had quite a few dinners, but on the last night we had one of their romantic dinners, where its set out with candles and petals and you have a five course meal. Great food , beautifully set up, amazing attention from staff , always evening entertainment , I think they want you to always make a reservation, cause if you do , you have a front row seat to enjoy the stage for dinner . Breakfast is held up stairs every morning as well as tea Time for a couple hours (3pm-5pm) with coffee, tea, small bites and all kinds of sweet treats all part of your visit as well as breakfast . Dinner however that is separate. But you have your option at the dinner menu or the ever changing buffet !

This place is amazing. this resort is perched in the valley, surrounded by trees and nature in the rainforest. The facilities are top-notch. The level of service and attention to detail is impeccable. My wife and I stayed the resort during our tour of six nations. It was so beautiful. We actually canceled a visit to our second Hotel and extended our visit here. Every member of the staff went over and beyond what you would expect from a five star resort
Our Butler, Ina gave us thorough
introduction to our pool, Villa. We extended our stay and upgraded to a premium pool Villa. Although everyone was exceptional and outstanding in their level of service and attention, I want to give a special thanks to our hostess in the restaurant , Oka. Oka was outstanding in every way, and really made our experience very personable by getting to know our names, and where we were traveling to and from. She also made a little take away container with bread cheese to enjoy with our wine later in the evening. Suwar it’s the name of the gentleman who provided us with a room transfer and transferred to our new hotel once we checked out. I advise taking the cooking class. It’s a lot of fun. And the romantic dinner in the chapel later that evening was superb. If you stay at this resort, you’ll have the best time of your life!!!

This was the best restaurant with very courteous and smiling staff, all of them. We found especially Ms. Ari taking very good care of all the visitors.

Excellent food and service! Sujanna was highly attentive and the food was on point. We did a romantic dinner on the flying leaf and the view was so spectacular that it felt like we were immersed in the jungle. This was truly a unique and memorable experience.

Across five days we had five breakfasts, one lunch and two in-room dinners, all of which were delicious and very well- presented. But more important was the quality of service by the staff who were absolutely lovely and so kind. The restaurant overlooks an idyllic perspective of the valley.

I feel mega grateful to have spent my birthday at Kayon Valley Resort. Every morning we’re greeted by staff members, always with a smile on their faces, and thoughtfully considered our needs. I also really enjoyed the traditional Indonesian dishes here which started our morning the right way. We really enjoyed our time here and will return in a heartbeat 💚

The breakfast is absolutely to die for. French toast, smoothie bowl, and scrambled eggs were my favorite. The juices were made fresh from the fruit. I wish I could put into the words how beautiful the view is. The tropical forest is so calming. The service was five stars! Cok Oka took care of us for three mornings and each time she catered to our every need. The staff was so pleasant, welcoming, and showed the upmost hospitality. I wish every place could be like this. I am absolutely coming back.

We can not praise this hotel, restaurant and staff enough! From the hospitable welcome, to the smiling faces and delicious food- you will not be disappointed. The menu is vast and wildly inclusive for all dietary needs and the presentation and flavor of all dishes is top- notch. My husband and I stayed here for an entire week eating breakfast, lunch and dinner here multiple times a week and were able to try new items every day. We love The Kayon Valley Resort and the staff so much!
