I am a bit of a coffee snob and during a recent cleanse the best I could hope for was a decafe with coconut, cashew or almond milk. In some places that is confusing but at Vespa no problem and it was Delicious 😋 had a green juice and that was fabulous too. When I'm back to eating will try... More

Stayed down the street from cafe vespa while on a volunteering trip. Often stopped here for breakfast, dinner. The food was absolutely delicious every time. Portion sizes could be a bit bigger, but definitely check this place out if you are staying nearby. Also offers free WIFI with good connection and all day breakfast.

Good vibe, good food. And loved my evening here. The chocolate dessert is well worth it!!!!!! If you are near I recommend going to it, don't attempt to get there without a scooter from other areas or Ubud though, as by night it isn't a safe walk.

Actually this cafe reminds you of one of your favorite hipster cafes in your hometown. But in a good way. The food was delicious, the atmosphere too. Price Niveau is a bit on the higher side. But that's what you should already expect. Can definitely recommend to go there to work or get some lunch or coffee.

Good western style restaurant serving delicious cakes, meals and healthy vegetarian food and drinks. Friendly staff and nice decor. The cakes are appealing and delicious especially after travelling for a couple of months in the outlying areas of Indonesian and eating nothing but Indonesian food, which I love. The salads are healthy as is the local herbal Jamu drink. Prices... More

Nice small restaurant, convenient when you stay in that area. Walking distance when you stay at Pekak Mangku Guesthouse. Kitchen closes at 9pm, restaurant at 10pm

In December 2011, after the renovation of a disused picture gallery in the small village of Penestanan Kaja, near Ubud, Bali, Cafe Vespa opened its doors to the general public. The space could be described as small, unintimidating and relaxing, with friendly and efficient staff. Our in-house bakery provides fresh bread, croissants and cakes, with the kitchen also cooking up a varied breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. Cafe Vespa prides itself, in what we believe to be one of the best coffees in Bali. We describe it as a velvety, full-bodied, artisan style coffee, prevalent in cafes from London to Australia. Our own 100% Arabica blend of Indonesian Toraja, Aceh Gao and Bali Kintamani is roasted to our specifications and delivered freshly roasted to us each week. For additional freshness each cup is freshly ground and served with the best quality milk. For those who do not do coffee, Vespa also has one of the best choices of teas, both healthy and classic. For the fruit and veggie drinkers there's a great range of sugar and ice-free juices. From a cultural standpoint Cafe Vespa not only provides great food and beverages but also serves as a centre for social interaction: the cafe gives visitors a place to congregate, talk, write, read, entertain one another, or pass the time on an ipad. The WiFi is also pretty good.
