This resto serves a famous typical soup in Solo known as Timlo. The resto is located in a famous and biggest traditional market in Solo, called Pasar Besar.

Simply the best. The taste is great, located near the biggest traditional market in Solo. Opens early in the morning, great for breakfast, and lunch too. The sambal is great..!!!

I was told by a friend to have a breakfast here. Location is easy to find by asking people around. Taste is nice, the soup is hot and perfect. Spicy soysouce is good to add either into the soup or rice. Place is not so clean because it is not permanent building, they have to improve the place.

I think it's quite big for 1 portion (timlo sosis telor) plus rice. It's not actually sausage, but it's more like a fried pangsit. The colour of egg is brown,it's cooked in a soy sauce,so it taste sweet (javanese food tipically). I like the sauce,it's called sambel petis,it's sweet and spicy. The price is 20 for 1 portion timlo sosis telor... More

A bit pricey. The complete soup is 20k with no rice. It can be for 2 people/kids. The location is inside pasar if you need a proper place then go to the sastro 2. It is a bit better. But i love timlo sastro they taste good.

Its over rated, place is dirty & smell of garbage. There's no meat in the soup, only chicken guts. Better go to a proper restaurant, price not much different & much more cleaner.

If you dont mind with the surrounding (near traditional market, near garbage dump), the soup is quite nice. You can choose the ingredient from sosis solo, chicken innards, boiled eggs or all (complete/ komplit). For the drinks they have fresh & delicious ice beras kencur (traditional drinks from rice & galanga) or you can try ice caramel, or just a... More

Overall - the taste is OK. A bit under my expectation given people said that this is the origin of timlo dish. I miss the wholesome taste of broth in timlo. However, the price is reasonable (IDR 19K) for complete dish (incl eggs, chicken lever, etc). The place is crowded during launch time, and its hot inside. So prepare to... More
