Our friend recommend us to eat here and the driver brought us there. The restaurant is big but a bit empty at that time. The food was fast. But I think the taste is average. That's why I was bit "disappointed" because I saw the high rating in Trip advisor. My other friend explained that maybe because the restaurant was... More

Our guide took us to this place on our first night in Lombok. There are many places that serve the Taliwang chicken but he reckons that this is the best. The restaurant is pretty basic, no frills but clean and comfortable. You can choose to sit at a table or you can have your meal in the traditional way by... More

The place is quite crowded and I have to move to other Taliwang Irama with approximately 200m. The Taliwang chicken is very nice, the size is quite big and the sambal is fantastic. The Kangkung Plecing is nice, so does the seafood menu, but the fried noodle is apparently Indomie, and they just add some toppings including sambals, not that I... The place is just pretty normal restaurant. I ordered the ayam taliwang, tahu, plecing kangkung, soups and coconut. The sambal is excellent and the chicken is awesome. I will definitely come back to this restaurant!!!

Ok first up - the staff here don't speak English and they don't have an English menu. Just remember it is a grill place - and "ayam" means chicken, "ikan" means fish, "tauhu" is tofu and "sayur" is vegetable. Malay is an easy language to master, so read the menu aloud and you can somewhat figure out that to order.... More

The Chicken Taliwang was very well marinated with various spices and barbeque nicely. We loved the beef bones soup the most as it was very hearty and tasty. The telur dadar was weird. Overall a nice meal in a comfortable restaurant. Must try

When I visited lombok for honeymoon, I asked my tour guide about the best Taliwang chicken restaurant, and he brought me to this restaurant. This restaurant serves two kind of Taliwang chicken, which are fried and grilled. I tasted them both and they are delicious. This is truly an authentic Taliwang chicken restaurant.

If you like restaurants that will immerse you in local eating then this is for you. It isn't a warung - it's a proper sit down restaurant but it's a no frills place that ( I gather) hordes of Indonesians visit from Jakarta due to the quality of the chicken. The chicken is the speciality and it is very good... More

If you have guest coming or you can't take spicy food so much, this is the place, all cooked in very mild spicy, for spicy lover, I might said this is not satisfying The chicken come quite dry, kangkung plecing is tomato's taste so far, from all the ayam taliwang I tried, this is considered to be the lack of... The famous taliwang chicken is normal at best. You could taste better taliwang chicken in Bali. The atmosphere here is lacking, the service is also quite poor.
