We go to Taos yearly and always stop by the Taos Cow, as it has become a ritual as we leave hiking from ski valley. Ice cream is fine, but the service is something else. Last week it was the same. Walked in, only a...More
I wandered into the Taos Cow about 7:00 on a Sunday morning and found it to be just perfect. A couple of souls were already hard at work at their writing. I ordered the migas, and they were just great, with house-made green chile sauce...More
Good coffee, breakfast, locals meeting and a stroll through town like all else. The lattes were superior and the baked goods tasty and the fella I was with had a full cooked breakfast and gobbled it.

We dropped in for ice cream. They have a nice selection with good solid taste. I like the dark chocolate flavors.

Just a little frame building with few tables. You order at the counter. Good selection of sandwiches and salads. Nicely prepared. Ice cream looked good but I did not have any -- too full.
Stopped for lunch at the Taos Cow and was very surprised to find a very good Gyro there. They also have make very good ice cream with unique flavors. Don't miss the approach that looks like it might be a secret garden, across the street.
