Not much to say except if you don't stop here to have hummus, you're not taking in the culture! Cozy little place, busy as expected. Tried all 3 flavors of hummus...BEST EVER!

Had the most amazing hummus ever just before burning it off on the Sandemans TLV walking tour. Lunch here was amazing and everyone was so friendly. The most soft and tasty chickpeas I could ever imagine! Thoroughly recommended!

Going by reviews and recommendations, I visited Abu Hassan in Old Jaffa to try out their Hummus. We ordered the 3 kinds of Hummus they made and shared the meal between 6 people. The price was very cheap. The hummus was very creamy and tasted really good. The place is very small so expect to share the table with other... More

I've been living in Tel Aviv for two years and have eaten a lot of hummus and masabacha (hummus with tahini and chickpeas) Abu Hassan has by far the best masabacha/hummus in my opinion. It is fresh, delicious and cheap (18 shekels) could eat this every day of the week and if on a visit to Tel Aviv/Jaffa it is... More

You havn't had hummus until you've been to Abu Hassan. Excellent food and friendly staff. It is very popular so prepare to wait for a table but it shouldn't take to long and it is worth it!

This place was perfect. The hummus was some of the best I've ever had. The price was super cheap given what I received. And the service was jovial and kind. They quickly discovered I was American and were really kind. Plus it was perfectly comfortable to eat alone at this place. One of my best meals in Israel so far.

The numerous reviews and articles about this place are not wrong. This is easily the best hummus I had in Tel Aviv. Worth a trip for that in itself but also to experience a local eating environment. It's a true hole in the wall experience with a quick turnover of patrons so expect a very fast paced and frenetic eating... More

aparently this is THE famous place to get JUST hummus in TLV. the restaurant is an institution among locals, and it is hard to know what to order etc, if you don't go with a local. The service is very,.. hmm... unusual... things are basically thrown onto your table without much "service" at all, but it works well because it... More
