We were here on business and decided to try the restaurant, as it was relatively near our hotel and had good reviews. We went slightly early, so there were only a few other couples/families. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was quite attentive (though not overly so). The warm bread with oil & vinegar to start was good;... More

We went to Cafe Calabria on a whim tonight and could not have been more pleased. From the minute we walked through the door we felt welcomed. The bread starter was delicious. Do not pass up the house dressing on your salad, and do not plan to make dinner the next night.....you'll have leftovers. We ordered the Hot Antipasti and... More

My first visit - lunch with a girl friend. Nice pour size on the wine which got the conversation flowing. I'm a huge fan of pasta so I ordered the Linguini with white clam sauce (so did my friend). Very tasty with just the right amount of garlic. Not just minced clams, but a few on the shell which we... More

We went here for a ladies night out & had made a reservation. None of us could find parking in the lot, so we all found spots on the side street. Our table was ready right away, & we were allowed to sit before everyone in our party of 6 arrived. The servers were attentive, though when I ordered the... More

Hands down the best homemade lasagne in the Capitol District. It's meaty, cheesy, well seasoned and the noodles were cooked perfectly. And there was so much I'm glad I had to bring more than half of it home! My husband had the linguine and clams in white sauce and said it was excellent. We also loved the salad with berries and... Without a doubt a cozy restaurant focusing on authentic rustic cuisine. For lunch, you must try the sandwich called Calabria. Be certain you're hungry-the crisp bread and gigantic meat feelings makes it difficult to finish. They will however cut it for you to take home what you can't finish.Restaurant is totally owned and operated by family.

We had family coming to town and I e-mailed Calabria through their website to secure a table for 8. After a week, I never heard back. I should have know better right then. I stopped in one night and reserved our table. When we arrived, the hostess did not seat us, but she just pointed at our table. We sat... More

Excellent seafood. Shrimp was outstanding and scallops tender and mouth watering. Nice wine selection and excellent salad . Waitstaff were pleasant and very well informed on specials.
