I had read the reviews online and really enjoy duck/rabbit - so seeing an appetizer of duck meatballs and rabbit pasta entree- was a must- so the opportunity arose to eat here today and jumped at it- the hostess was an absolute doll and Karen...the waitress made the dinning experience a joy- she was prompt- friendly but sad to say no cookies- maybe next year lol- duck meatballs were great- not over seasoned- great flavor - first/last bite very enjoyable- rabbit ragu was same- first/last bite on point- will be back next racing season!!More

This was our first indoor dining experience post full vaccination - yes, we went big to celebrate! Love the meatball and clams appetizers and entrees were all perfect. Service was efficient but not at all rushed. Wine list is upscale but you can't go wrong...with any choice. Honestly I don't think could could pick a wrong choice for food either. Definitely a great place for a celebratory meal or you just want to impress.More

I ate there on a Wednesday, by myself, at the bar. The restaurant was tastefully decorated with a laid back feel. The owner, Connie, was my server and she was on top of everything. My first course was fried calamari with a chili-sweet sauce and...it was delicious. The squid is fresh not frozen. Next course was scallops. They were cooked perfectly. My entree, mushroom risotto with beef tips, was great. Highly recommend for a perfect evening.More

As restaurants start to re-open, we were very cautious about where to go. I contacted owner Connie Ware directly, and she assured me that Mezza Notte was taking every precaution. We decided to give it a go, and were not disappointed! Proper seating distance, reduced...capacity, plexiglass panels between booths, and staff masked at all times. A safe dinner's not necessarily a great meal, but Mezza Notte's kitchen is holding up during the pandemic. The menu has been temporarily scaled back a bit, but there were plenty of options for us to choose from, including gluten-free items for my wife, and our server, Samina, was attentive and professional throughout. All in all, we were able to relax and enjoy a lovely meal in a safe and pleasant environment, a very special treat in these troubled times. Thanks, Mezza Notte. See you again soon!More

Our party of 6 enjoyed everything ordered, from appetizers to dessert. The food was phenomenal, and the service excellent. Several of us ordered the special, a sea bass with roasted potatoes and vegetables. It was fantastic, we all loved it! The calamari was enjoyed very...much as well, and we ordered creme brulee for dessert, which was to die for. The atmosphere is attractive and comfortable except for the noise level. It was very difficult to hear each other when the restaurant was full (it was Saturday during prime hours).More

This evening I sat an the expanded bar and enjoyed wine, a Mezzanotte salad (positively divine with crispy goat cheese, apples, pears, tomatoes, nuts, and figs) and the rabbit rage which is always my favorite. While the seasonal menu tried to tempt me away from...the ragu I can't resist that siren call. The bar service was just as excellent as the dining room always is and Olesya made sure my glass stayed full. Whenever family is visiting the is the must-eat restaurant in the region, and I've never had a meal that left us wanting. Pete is our favorite server, always charming and funny, attentive but not overbearing, but we've never had a service experience that lacked. Staff training is clearly focused on service as each employee from host to bartender has always greeted us with a smile and a desire to make our experience truly special. Mezzanotte remains my favorite gem in the capital region, and it's even more of a delight since they expanded the bar.More

If you enjoy authentic Italian dining, you must visit Mezzanotte. The food is perfect every time, and we’re always pleasantly surprised by the days off menu specials, which are consistently spectacular. The new expanded bar and lounge area is great for kicking back with friends...and there’s always a fun crowd and atmosphere. I plan to continue going back often.More

We do not have a specific gluten free menu, however, a number of our non pasta items are gluten free, and we do have gluten free pasta available.
