Superfriendly staff, amazing non-artificial genuine Indian food and also vegetarian friendly cuisine. Perfect place for a dinner on Jeju.

Baghdad continues to be excellent food. But *note* it has moved to a NEW LOCATION. 34, Gwandeok-ro 8-gil, Jeju-si, Jeju-do 63169 Near the Megabox in Gu-Jeju.
Bagdad Cafe was one of the best dining experiences we had in Jeju and some of the best Indian food in Korea. We have extensive experience with Indian food, including India. The ambiance was very inviting and the very personable manager/owner made the experience even...greater. The tandoori chicken was delicious and prepared very well with a good portion. The palak paneer was absolutely perfect and the garlic naan was amazing. The key? An Indian chef who knows how to prepare North Indian (Mughlai style) cuisine! They also offer chicken malai kebab (reshmi). Oh, and a cup of masali chai tea is a must. Baghdad is highly recommended!More
Excellent Indian food. Though, I found Indian Kitchen with better reviews in tripadvisor, Bagdad Cafe is from far the best Indian food you can taste in Korea. Food quality and price is very well. We came once and then again every time we visited Jeju...Island. You will not regret!More
I haven't been here for a long time but I'm sure it will be as good as ever as long as the owner, Ju Ryeong, is still in charge. She treats her staff and customers with the same kindness, ensuring a happy atmosphere to eat....The menu has everything you expect and at reasonable prices. I hope to get back there some day for a relaxing time.More
Not sure why an Indian restaurant is named after an Arab city but Bagdad was a great find when we were getting tired of black pork or seafood options. Their chicken tikka masala and lamb saag were some of the best Indian curry we’ve had...in Korea. Their lassis were also tasty. Driving to the crowded area was a bit of a hassle but well worth it.More
I came here the food was amazing, price Wow and quality of service was exceptional. Highly recommend
As someone who grew up eating authentic indian food, I have been looking for a place that cooks the way my family does back home. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are warm. The best place for couples, friends or families. It made me...wish i lived in Jeju. ❤More
I love this place . Best place to eat halal food Beautiful garden. Open area full with different colour of flowers
this restaurant is a super cozy place with a very friendly atmosphere and lovely staff. the food is delicious and served quickly. prices are fair. many veggie options available. definitely a great recommendation, thanks to lonely planet! 😁
Food was great. Only that the place is hard to find during the dark. GPS will say that you've reached your destination along the road. Got to drive along the beaten path to find the place. If I can remember, the owner is an Afghan...married to a Korean lady.More
So I grew up in the UK (where believe it or not, the national dish is now considered curry). So I have been eating Indian food for the last 25 years. This place has excellent Indian food. The service was great and the staff very...friendly. I did order a Kingfisher beer which turned out to be way out of date. So that got returned and I had a local brand instead. Two of us, ordered main courses, rice and nan bread. Plus my beer. Was a total of about US$33. We left full and very satisfied. Value for money was awesome. It might be you can get other food that is cheaper, but I have had a few dishes in Jeju and this is the one I would recommend to anyone visiting. One note: parking a car is not easy. Plan to get to the approximate area and the find a spot and walk. The roads get tight and hard to find spaces.More
Was a bit surprised to find out this is an Indian restaurant because of the name. But once we settled down inside, the service and food was quite good. Following the typical local Korean style, the menu is limited with few options. The food is...vegetarian friendly and the spices are toned down to suit the local taste. The food is quite good for a small foreign restaurant on the island city. The naan is really soft and delicious, served hot from the oven.More
Had butter naan with tandoori chicken and it was simply delicious. Nearby to bus stop and walking distance to Donan Market, this cafe is tucked between black pork restaurants and bars. Definitely not to be missed.
Had this during our 5thday in jeju. Ordered naan, butter chicken and lamb massalla. Prices are ok.. food is delicious, the lady manning the counter speaks good english
