Ujin Haejangguk is really delicious with Haejangguk and Yukgaejang. This is a really famous place and it is popular with people from Jeju and from all over the world.

It was so delicious. I'm going to go again next time. It was my first time to have this kind of yukgaejang, but it was very new and surprisingly, it left a very good impression.
I went to jeju with my friends. we had a drank. we want to relieve a hangover, so we went to this restaurant in the morning. but the line was really long. we spent 1 hour. Because it is so famous, there is a disadvantage...that the line is long lines. but there's signature Haejangguk was awsome. I had quite many Haejangguk, but here it was different. If u want a hangover, I recommend this place.More
Unless you are a Korean local authentic soup fan, this is the place to go. Personally we don’t quite fancy them. We ordered the spicy beef broth, the seaweed broth, pork broth and pancake. Perhaps you can order one soup first and decide if you...are keen to order more. Happy trying.More
Soup is the specialty, rich broth made by pork/ beef. Local taste, traditional dishes and family environment. Not recommended for vegans/vegetarians. Great service - English menu available
Simple and tasty soup. Somehow some food reviews call this the "hangover soup". The broth is rich in favour.
We very much enjoyed our lunch. a) The restaurant was busy at lunch (important thing know good). b) The menu... interestingly there was none, everyone gets the same thing (see attached picture). I love when a restaurant is busy with local people & only serves...one thing.... obviously means sooo good that no reason to offer anything else. By the way, lunch for two, was approximately US$15. A great meal & price.More
This place was popular among jeju local people even before the appearance at the "Wednesday Dinning Clue 수요미식회" Korean Gourmet TV Show. After the show, it has explored and the line is long. It will be good experience for the Korean visitor to experience the...local Jeju food because it's has very unique and delightful taste, however It's the taste is so new and rare that many Korean folks have hard time to full taste of the food. It's not at the degree of "rotten tofu" but it's unique. I think it will be very difficult for foreigner to understand the taste. If you are looking for new local taste, I would recommend it, however If you are looking for the "wow" first bite experience I wouldn't recommend it.More
I came here on a weekday around 1400hr. Unfortunately, the queue was rather long. As I was hungry and didn’t wish to stand in the winter cold, I gave up and didn’t manage to try the food. I suggest you come early for your meals.
Great soups. We tried the leg bone and the beef. Went back the next day for more. If there is a queue, take a number off the reception stand and wait for them to call your number. We had to look around to see other...people's numbers since we did not understand the numbers called out in Korean. English menu is available.More
I went at 230 pm on a weekday and I didn’t have to queue. There are sufficient parking lots in front of the restaurant. The beef broth soup was thick, creamy and with loads of beef. I ordered the spicy beef soup as well but...found the non-spicy one more tasty.More
I cant forget the soup even months after the trip. I wish I have returned to here before departing home.
We ordered two bowls of pork bone soup. The result is two spicy beef soup. The communication didn't went well even with an English menu. Each portion costs 8k krw. There is a short queue but the turnover is fast. We waited less than 15mins....Parking is hard to find outside the restaurant. There are plenty of parking nearby, so u can park across the street and walk over.More
I came here at 5pm Thursday. No queue, no wait, just ordered and got my meal after 5 min, I think. It took me 8k krw for a spicy beef soup. You can request more kimchee for free. Love this one.
Went looking for this restaurant straight after landing in Jeju and hungry for lunch. Queue up but didn't have to wait for long. Immediately ordered 2 bowls of the spicy beef soup. Found it loaded with shredded beef and pork and you add in the...rice to soak in the thick and tasty broth. and that's pretty much it. Didn't try other stuff as my next meal plan was to go for the famous abalone meal at Myeogjin JeonbokMore
