This indian restaurant is inside the Impala Hotel. There are 3 restaurants at this hotel (Chinese, Italian and Indian). The Indian food was pretty genuine indian as the hotel is managed by indians. So again this is a good option for a break from Tanzanian / African food. Only order one dish and one rice as it is copious. Very... More

I love to eat pizzas whereever I go in the world, every country / city has their own unique take on this classic food. We went to the hotel resturant 2x we like it so much, the pizza was excellent and they had some interesting topping options.

We ate here twice. It was close to our lodge and the food was excellent. The best part is that they have Indian, Italian and Chinese food so we could all have what we wanted. The food took awhile to get but was worth the wait.

We were fortunate enough to be taken here by residents of Arusha who have business ties in the U.K. Very grateful for their hospitality to strangers linked only by my business association with their brother in England. Always enjoy the opportunity to talk to locals and even better to be looked after so well by our hosts and the restaurant.... More

Went here often when staying in arusha to use internet and the swiming pool. Food was good and service good. Needed up dating the changing facilities for the pool. But all in all a good hotel.

I've stayed at the Impala A LOT over the years going back as far as 1996 and especially since 2009. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Most of the rooms are spacious, and when I've requested a specific room they've always been willing to oblige if it was available. The decor is comfortable rather than elegant. The mattresses... The Impala is one of the largest hotels in Arusha, I've never stayed there but I've eaten in their restaurants. They're not the most atmospheric places and they're not what I would call well decorated (think tiled walls and floors and plastic garden chairs) definitely not fine dining. However, the curry they serve is really good, by far the best... More

If you enjoy outstanding Indian food, I highly recommend you go the the Indian part of the ground floor restaurant area. As everything is made to order from scratch, be prepared to wait a while for your dinner. However, the wait is well worth it and the prices are quite inexpensive for what you get. Of great disappointment though is... More
