My wife and I were on KohTao for a month and this was our go to restaurant. We ate at Mae Haad Seafood at least 20 times. The restaurant is run by a very sweet Thai couple. The kitchen is very clean and the service...is excellent. All of our dishes were delicious and of high quality. We highly recommend Mae Hadd Seafood.More

Truly enjoyed the experience, food is great and very afordable. The wait is short, can't say the same about other palaces in the area! Highly recommend, especially the deep fried squids!!!

The guy serving tables ignores you and does the bare minimum of taking your order and bringing your food. The food is not fresh. I got a shrimp salad. The fried/breaded shrimp was soggy and the lettuce was wilted and sad-looking. The tomatoes and radicchio...looked dirty and shrimps weren't clean. Price-wise it's a bit pricier than other better nearby establishments. The only saving grace are the beachfront dining (although the view is poor) and the papaya shake. The shakes are smoothies and seem healthy and delicious. Cheap, too. Overall not worth itMore

Choose your fresh sea food from what is on display out front and then eat it at a table on the beach while watching the sun set over the sea. They have, of course, a full menu and pleasant and helpful staff. Stunning setting and...lovely views over the harbour. Can be recommended.More

we came here first for a fruit shake (30bt - you can't argue with that!) which was excellent. It's in a great setting by the sea and you can overlook the bay. The food is also nice - special mention to the stuffed pancake. The...guy is eccentric to say the least, but they're both a really friendly couple. Unfortunately they were closed on our last couple of days, but we wish we could've gone back and eaten there again.More

Sumran and Nit is the couple who has been running this place for a long time. I first ate at this place 10 years ago. Mae Haad Seafood is just 30 meters away from the Mae Haad pier. When you go out of the pier,...turn right and walk.It is next to Paprika. It is not a posh place but has a wonderful view of the pier. You can have good thai food, but the best thing for me is the mango shake. Nit cooks and Sumran (or Charlie) serves the tables. Both always friendly. It has a n open kitchen and you can watch Nit cooking your food if you want . Very Recommendable. mobile : 080-5387177More
