If you want to eat the best authentic Thai food in Ch Am, you can't go past Pana's. We ate here every night while staying at Veranda Hotel. I'm a bit of a foodie, so I expect more than just a feed, and Pana's delivered that. Food here is well presented, full of taste and delivered with a smile. The... More

On the narrow, quiet beach road between the Springfield and Veranda hotels, good first impressions were of a spacious outdoor cafe, partly covered. Tablecloths were clean and had a pretty Thai design. Flies were troublesome, as at any open air restaurant. Poorer second impressions were of the shambling, shuffling family running the place. They brought the menus quite quickly and... More

A friendly family with good food and ice cold beer. Right across the road from the beach. A great way to spend an hour or so.

Another visit to Pana's for a super tasty spicy chicken penang. Very reasonably priced, as usual and excellent service. Very quiet this time.

I regret to report that the owner John has died, and while his wife Bah and family areicontinuing to run the bar, there is no longer a Western food menu, except for breakfast and fish and chips. But the Thai food is excellent, so don't let this stop you paying a visit.

The restaurant is by the ocean and it has a charming ambience. The food is consistently first class and the service is always courteous and timely. I would think that it is a little further to travel for the major hotel guests, but it is worth the effort.

Not as busy as we've seen it, but the food was good as usual. I always have the Penang curry and it's always the best in the village! Excellent service.

Ate at this particular restaurant a few times during our stay and food was excellent every time from the obligatory full English for brekky to the sumptuous pad thai, prawns and curries. The beers were served in the iciest glasses you could find and the ladies quaffed lovely cocktails. Would definitely eat here any time I am at Cha Am
