Probably one of the largest and more professional restaurants in Cha Am, at this time of year (i.e. Xmas/ New Year) it provides a perfect spot for some al fresco dining. A wide ranging menu with a largely seafood and Thai leaning, the food was of a good quality. The service lets it down somewhat with dishes not being served... More

If you are in Cha-Am, this is a must visit. It is a lovely restaurant with a large menu. I came here with my family and everything we ate was great. We sat outside on their beautiful patio. The staff is very friendly and the service was really good. I wish we had eaten here our second night also! It... More

We had dinner tonight with our American Friend Edouard. All was great, the atmosphere, the waiter, the band singing outside but also the food : -Blue crab in yellow curry with egg, -Seabass in salt crust, -Steamed sea bass. And then a dessert chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream ... Don't miss this restaurant !!!

We had a great breakfast this am after a 4 Km walk along the beach at Cha Am.The Raya Resort serves excellent coffee and for THB 250 I had a 3 course meal-enough to set me up for a full day of Thai lessons-which were just up the road. The atmosphere is quiet in the early morning and all the... More

My wife and I usually use Raya as a special occasion restaurant. That is not to say it wouldn't be good to eat here all the time, it is just to suggest it is a first class establishment and a cut above many others in the Cha am district. The wine list is spot-on, so is the service but the... More
