This is an unassuming restaurant on the main road into Kas (next to the Sok supermarket). We noted a good number of locals eating here and have often found throughout our extensive travels that you can often do no better than eating where the locals eat. We ordered chicken stew, moussaka and green beans which were hot and delicious. As... More

I see reviews prior loved the place and some thought it was mediocre, sorry to say this time our visit was disappointing. The food was just ok I would say cooked without love, the staff, only the waitress was helpful and there a definite local/tourist division. We mainly eat at local places traveling throughout Turkey, they are usually good value,... More

We went to Deniz (just up the hill from the harbour Mosque) for a coffee but saw the food and ordered. We had pide, rice, salad, orange juice and 2 turkish coffees each and the bill for three was £13. The service was friendly and excellent and they couldn't have made us feel more welcome. There were lots of turks... More

The food was ok but their manners not. We got sand in our sallad and we told them and then they took it away. When the bill came they charged us for the sallad, then we reminded them about this (?). Then they "tried" to deduct the sallad but did not manage properly, And then recalculating, recalculating... we dropped the... More

Good and plenty food in typical turkish atmosphere (neon lights) ;-) ... worth the money - but don't expect high class cuisine ... had a grilled sea bass for 20 TL... recommended.

Would prefer to mark this above average but not as much as very good. Service good friendly and attentive. Didn't order a starter but were given flat bread, dips and cheese which was very good. Mains were perfectly fine but nothing to write home about so I won't. All in all good place to go for a change.

I ate at this place on the main road a couple of times as a good, unfussy place for a quick lunch. The location is nothing fancy but the restaurant serves good, honest local food and a very nice iskender kebab (one of my favourites). Staff was very friendly and the place was full of locals. Very reasonably priced too.

Warm and friendly staff with massive portions of food! The iskender is by far the best dish in the place

Cheap and cheerful local cuisine, freshly cooked. Friendly service, meal for 2 £15 inc a beer and soft drink. Excellent Cheese Pide, delish, more than enough for 2 as a starter though we had ordered two and couldn't eat it all (waiter did offer to box remainder as take away which I thought was a nice touch). Main course was... More

If you like to skip the overpriced tourist spots and join the locals, this is the place. Ramazan is a hardworking host who believes in the personal touch. All his wonderful friends and family make you feel like one of them. The food is amazing, fresh and delicious! You certainly won't leave hungry. The atmosphere is all about the people!... More
