Food ok portions abit small. Trout fish was a good size though but I had meat dish which was small. Lukily I had the starter to help fill me up more. Dessert was fruit with ice cream. Very fresh and tasty. Heating was not too good though but the meals all in all was very tasty.

Food was ok for price we payed, but service was terrible. They walk around, hit chairs while you are sitting, asking pay recept while you are eating, ... don't come here, it s wordless! :s

Lunch was at a place called Hanedan Kervansaray, a large restaurant built to look like a caravansary, with big rooms clearly designed for groups, wedding receptions and the like. The walls were decorated with traditional crafts, including folkloric garments and other textiles. We had a tasty lentil soup, so good that George Beers asked for seconds, and a beef stew... More

The atmosphere was very nice, service was superb although the place was nearly empty. Vegetable soup was ok, the borek was ok and huge. The Terra Cota lamb was ok but could have used a lot more flavor. Nice experience although the food was average.

What a lovely place starting right with the door. We came here with our OAT tour group. The staff was warm and friendly. We had vegetable soup, cheese in hot bread, lamb stew in a flamed terra cotta container followed by fruit topped with ice cream. Great portions and very good.

If you are in Ankara, this is definitely a good option. The place is picturesque, with interesting decor and rich details. The service was very nice, the food was good (especially the soup served as first course, which was delicious). I personally had a great experience at this restaurant.

We were brought here by our tour guide after a walk in rose valley and we were really pleasantly surprised to see such lovely decor. However, as mentioned in previous reviews, this place is built for tour groups so it feels a bit touristy. It had already been pre-arranged that we would both have a set meal, a soup, cheese...
